This is a update on the owner response to my review. The same day the owner response to my review Ms.Turpin contacted me.She contacted me a few minutes before the owner responded to my review. She stated that she called me. Every time she contacted me she never gave me a good time to call her so we can speak. In the last e-mail i sent her i asked her what day and time she would be available to talk. She never responded to my e-mail. The only reason she called me again is because i put a bad review on -line about the law firm. The owner said me and her exchanged e-mail. That never did happen. She got my e-mail address when i fill out the form on the law firm website for a consultation. The only questions she answer was about whether the law firm offer a free consultation and do the law firm handle all cases.I asked Ms.Turpin by e-mail several times does the law firm handle all cases before she gave me a answer. I will get help from another law firm or handle my own issue by myself.
Mr. Stafford was very professional in the way he handled my matter. He is very articulate and he has a good grasp of the law.
I will recommend him to other people.
Working with Mr. Stafford, I found him organized, business-like and professional, and at the same time impressively personable, understanding and concerned about my well-being and interests. He listened intently to my recitation of the case facts and quickly saw the big picture.
In pursuing my case, Mr. Stafford worked hard and conscientiously, with intelligence, depth, and professionalism. At all times he exhibited exceeding care, understanding, and concern for my interests and our process. I found him easy to talk to and an ideal partner to balance out my personalization of the situation.
In the end, Mr. Stafford’s representation resulted in a negotiation that was delegated and managed efficiently; and in an improved agreement that paid careful attention to all the details.
My outcomes were better than what I could have done on my own, and were about as well as I could have done against a determined adversary.
I would recommend Jamal Stafford without reservation to handle your legal matters.
I walk in to his office explain that I'm a victim of race, gender, culture, retaliation and disability discrimination first he tries to convince me that my case is strong and I tell him I want certain amount of settlement and he agrees then he gets to work I pay $300 and $1895 for retainers fees and finally the other party which I suspect he knows the other attorney because after the other attorney response he starts to change his tone telling me I have no case and I should just take whatever they offer which is nothing extra.
Finally he somehow persuaded me to sign the Non disclosure which I only agreed when the other party agreed to pay my attorneys fee but guess what he tell he that the attorneys fee is his 1/3 percent which I'm expecting he will refund the $1895 from the attorneys fee paid to his office but he goes on to say that the $1895 was a flat fee.
Anyway long story short he was a complete mistake and he is just trying to get a quick cash anything that involves any extra time for him he will just back off or convince you otherwise.
He can keep the $1895 along with my problems one thing guaranteed is that greed gets no one anywhere and it wont make me any richer and if he did anything that made this transaction go left it will never go well for him. I'm angry, upset and I know my family is affected by this since I'm the bread winner. But goodluck if you want him to be a good counsel for you. Find another lawyer immediately before you end up like me.
In my previous experience with a lawyer, I was left with the impression that lawyers were egotistical, abrasive, rude and uncaring.
Mr. Jamaal Stafford was the opposite of that. His professionalism, calm demeanor and compassion for my situation truly changed my preconceived idea about lawyers. Mr. Stafford provided me with realistic options and expectations. After deciding on the best option, Mr. Stafford got to work immediately. I never had to inquire for updates as Mr. Stafford readily provided them. At no point did I feel confused or was left in the dark. I felt reassured after each conversation as he would say after each interaction “No, thank you!”
I highly recommend the services of Mr. Jamaal Stafford to anyone in need of legal representation.
Jay used his skills as an attorney to open a new line of communication with my previous employer who was both litigious and unapologetic about their restrictive noncompete clause. Rather than go to court, he helped me work with that employer to identify which opportunities they would be willing to grant me a waver for and which they would not. Many of the opportunities we discussed were ultimately allowed, enabling me to receive multiple job offers over the ensuing weeks and months. I'm happy to say I'm now employed with an excellent organization and have moved on to bigger and better things.
In short, Jay is a smart, well-tempered, and committed attorney who has the capacity and sincere passion to help those in need of representation when facing big challenges from prior or existing employers. If that is what you're after, then look no further.
Mr. Stafford remained not only professional throughout his representation of me, but also extremely sensitive to what I had been through,. He reassured me several times about our stance in the case, and guided me into the best decisions possible when they needed to be made.
Mr. Stafford was fair and just, which is exactly what one hopes for in an attorney. He handled all rising issues in the best ways possible, and his choices and results were always good ones.
I would hire Mr. Stafford again in a heartbeat, and would encourage anyone seeking litigation to do the same.
