Shook and Stone staff was very attentive with two attorneys and one case manager helping me. They got great results!

If I could give this a negative star I would. My case in 2 years had seen some 13 people. Very rude answering service and employees just amazes me how they are still in business.

When i needed someone who would represent me and care about who i was and help me , i went looking for the best Lawyer i could find. I found that in Shook & Stone. On their website it showed they were caring and took on many kinds of cases. From Veteran issues , Social Security Disability , accidents from Workers comp.and auto accidents and without a doubt one of the best Lawyer and Attorney"s (Shook & Stone ) out there by far. They were aggressive and did what was best for the client who was me, not just for the bottom line. I also noticed they do volunteer work for charities and children. This to me was also important as it shows hands down they are a caring Law Firm.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff of Shook & Stone in Reno . Our names were taken and immediately we taken back to talk to a representative .The staff was extremely friendly, Doing the intake we were warmly greeted on a large screen to talk directly to our Lawyer who would represent me. He was very caring and took great interest as if i was the only one he was working with. Through out the entire case they made sure i was give exactly the medical care i needed and stayed on top of everything. Even calling me to make sure everything had gone great. In closing the case they did so , fairly and got me what it was worth and even made sure i was happy with the whole procedure. I want to also thank a Mr. Allen Atton, Who went far beyond what i am sure is his job. Every call was always answered or he would return my calls almost immediately and was so friendly making sure i knew what was going on and always had a gracious manner. I believe if he will go very far in life as well because of how much he cares and is on top of everything.
Again if you need help they are the ones to go to who will help and care about YOU !!!!

My experience and my opinion of this law group is that they are simply terrible, terrible, terrible. Please do yourself a favor and seek assistance elsewhere. The office staff in Reno are disorganized, confused, rude and unhelpful.
The investigative staff and support staff from Las Vegas, present as uncaring, unprepared and overworked.
My only contact with my attorney, Kevin, in a six month time frame, was 2 minutes via an awful webcam connection that was never completed or followed up with.
When I finally did get my settlement check they included their standard 33.33% take in addition to fees the office staff could not and would not explain. Shook and Stone is excellent at taking a tragic experience/accident and making it worse with awful practices and a rubber stamp treatment of their clientele.
If you are looking to be treated poorly, looking to be given substandard assistance and service all while being charged top dollar for minimal service Shook and Stone is the place for you.

I trusted these people to handle my disability claim with Social Security & Twice They Failed To Produce Results!!!! They Closed my case now Twice I have been waiting for 3 & A Half Years Mind You. It is very clear I Never Should Have Trusted Them With My Claim & Neither Should You!!! They do not push for results they do not fight for you it is all about the money. They do not care about you I am indigent with No Income & they take there sweet time knowing this. They are A joke at best avoid them at all costs you are trusting them with your life do not get dumped for nothing as I did choose another lawyer to fight for you.......

Well the one star reviews basically said it all. I should have read them before choosing Shook and Stone for my mother's disability case. The only person who sold me was the receptionist and her recommendation. However, that is where the caring stopped. My mother has been fighting hers for over 3 years and they treated her with absolute apathy when they received her case halfway through due to an even worse representation. I found S & S to replace the bottom barrel idiots my mum used and didn't know much about but was being yanked around bordering on illegal. She was facing financial ruin and homelessness. She cannot work, barely walk, uses a walker and cannot be to far from the bathroom-her hands often swell, leaving her unable to write and barely type. We had the Reno office. The lawyer we had was a new graduate and just as apathetic. We trusted them to bat for her and she ended up with a denial and we have to appeal after the Judge's denial-which we received yesterday-(my birthday no less.) was received by Shook and Stone two weeks prior and not bothered to let us know. Now, she is being passed off to different lawyers because she has no other choice but to continue. No where else to turn. Who would deny an old lady in a walker with provided medical evidence?! I cannot wrap my head around it. I guess the 30 page denial letter will explain why they would deny an elder woman who is clearly sick. I feel hopeless and helpless-I chose Shook and Stone for my mother believing they would take care of my mother. To my utter disbelief (and everyone else that chipped in to help my mother have food and a roof over her head.) they did the opposite. Apathy and a "devil may care" attitude is what one could expect from the offices of Shook and Stone.

I recently had my work injury case settled with the Shook and Stone firm. I just want to say. The team they assembled to represent me was absolutely great. They were always one step ahead of the insurance company. Not letting them get away with any attempts to hold up my case. I received the medical treatment immediately and never once had to come up with a penny for any medical costs. They are the best law firm in the city. Just to say. I had extensive operations. So my case was not a easy one. I recommend ANYONE with a work injury or car accident to contact them. You won't be sorry and always know you are in very good hands.

Terrible, at first shook and stone said my case would be easy. then denial after denial. At the hearing I meet the Lawyer that was handling my case as the original one was not on my case anymore. Could not get phone calls returned and they showed no interest in me as a client. My medical issues continue to worsen and they don't want to hear about it. I do not recommend them at all.

Three years have passed and now I get to start the process all over again!! Watch out for this group!!

Let me just say that in 2013 I was involved in a car accident were I suffered neck and back injuries so I contacted the Shook & Stone Law Office in Las Vegas, were the Staff wss very professional and handled my case EXCELLENTLY, and at the end of my case I received a LARGE amount which made my very HAPPY....

My husband is an injured veteran and was denied benefits multiple times by the state. As soon as we signed up with S&S we received back pay as well as benefits. Simple matter of the fact is that they were good at their job and pridessional.
