Personally I don’t think it was worth the money. I wanted to forsure my license wouldn’t be suspended for such a small case and they took it too lightly. I thought it was perfect in the initial meeting with the actual attorney And his new assistant. The day of the court it’s only his assistant there representing me . He told me they wouldn’t budge and we were going to trial. The entire time you could telll he was new. he was more nervous than I was butchered some questions and just didn’t have a real outline. I was found guilty got my license suspended, community service and a fine. A buddy pleaded guilty and only got charged with the same fee I paid for the lawyer.. a little more planning would’ve at least saved my license

Services may be too good. My ex was charged with 2 felony's and a DUI; with the help of this law firm she walked away scottfree. No probation, no drug-testing, no supervision, no time-served, no drug-court, no rehab, they didn't do her any favors that's for sure because she is running wild.

When an investigator gave me a citation without any witnesses to prove that it was my fault, I decided to hire a lawyer. I was on my presence mind when my accident happened, and I am 101% sure it was not my fault. I called every Reno law firm listed online, but they keep declining to accept my case. Joey Gilbert Law Firm was the only one who believed in me and accepted me as their client. They immediately processed everything and assured me that they would take care of me. Had my green card process done, but it was very frustrating. First: they make a huge effort to put the costumer in contact with an assistant, and the assistant is NOT a lawyer. Before I came to US , I contacted the office to see if there was any documents I could send of forms to fill in advance, but nothing was done, which made my process really slow. When they finally decided fill up the forms, my husband and I found lots of wrong information (even though we gave them all the copies of documents). Those same forms even had information from previous customers. And finally, after waiting for months and months for my temporary work permit and the travel document, my son got sick and I had to go back to my country. The assistant and the lawyer just told me I had to stay in US, until my process was finished! They didn’t even bother to inform me that I could try to get an emergency travel document. I just found that out because a friend told me. I submitted the paperwork at the immigration office myself.

This law firm was the first of many that I called for help for a case I was dealing with that could of cost me losing my license for 3 years period. I spoke to Ryan and although he was attentively listening and engaging, he made me feel like I had no hope and scolded me instead of trying to give me advice or at least a little bit of hope. I then asked for how much he would charge to help. He blurted out "thirty two hundred dollars!". Which I thought was crazy. Needless to say I called a different law firm and free of charge offered me advice and assured me if I needed help he would charge me half the price of $1500. Well today, I just came out of court with the advice from the other lawyer of giving my public defender a try I got my charge dropped to something easy I could work with with out losing my license and hadn't spent a dime on him. Will never reccomend this place to anyone and my advice is, call and shop around there are great lawyers out here. I give them 2 stars because although Ryan was no help their receptionists were proffessional.

If you have a marijuana case do yourself a favor and look somewhere else! They know very little about weed laws in their own state but say theyre weed lawyers. The rates they charge are higher than they're worth or the time they put in for you. Paid almost 20gs and all they could offer was the same deal the public attorney offered. If they have to do any real work they want more money. Very overrated firm

I was involved in a serious car accident on Feb 9, 2016, as an uninsured motorist; a day that nearly stopped me dead in my tracks, as I suffered pretty substantial injuries. Joey Gilbert Law was amongst the top web results in my search for personal injury lawyer, and knowing I had a fight on my hands, I made the call.

Paralegal Diana Sims picked up my case immediately, and made time to meet with me the very next day. I was overwhelmed with an instant sense of comfort and confidence after my first meeting at the firm. She told me not to worry about a thing... assured me that my case was significant, that I WAS MOST IMPORTANT, and that my recovery would first and foremost be taken care of. And that it was! Before I left the office that day, Diana gave me a personal guarantee that I would receive a settlement. I had every reason to trust her.

She went hard to work and began fighting for me right away, while I started my new full-time job of recovery. I recovered quickly since she led me to the best care.

After a couple of months, a new player joined the Joey Gilbert fight team, and his name was Attorney John Stephenson. In a meeting one afternoon, John asked me how I would like to settle MY CASE. He definitely put the power in my hands. I told him that I wished to settle it quickly, but not for the low ball offer from the other driver's insurance. This guy is a fraud. Seriously don't think your going to get competent service from a guy who got beat in the head for a living. This man charged 5000$ to do nothing and then resigned as my attorney because I would sign a 2-5 prison sentence. I was not guilty and told him that then he laughed at me. This bozo at my arraignment literally handed me a 500 page discovery and said look it over and tell me if anything is wrong. He then proceeded to show another attorney hoe to properly perform a up down burpie. The night before this guy and his posse were at the GSR acting like total dooshbags. His paralegal team is completely incompetent. My case was headed to a grand jury like most cases. He demanded I paid him more money for a hearing he was not required to be at. I can guarantee you this guys rips off daily and nobody knows any better. Public defender will get you the same deal this punch drunk guy can. As far as I'm concerned this guy owes me. Also I got another attorney and guess what my charges were dropped and I plead down to a smaller crime and got probation. This guy is a lame!

Brass tax, this is a real review, by a real client, about an attorney that is... well... REAL! Basically, I was blindsided by an issue that I had no gameplan for, and in my case choosing the correct defense meant landing that game winning tackle early, or going into overtime and possibly throwing in the towel. Luck have it, I chose wisely. Too many metaphors? Simply, the allegations that were being made were too much for me to fathom. However, after speaking to a few attorneys, Joey was the only one that sounded confident, down to earth, and someone that I could truly depend on. By the next day, after retaining him, I was sleeping again… and that basically paid for itself. The greatest thing, besides the feeling of being able to shift all the stress to him, is that he resolved everything before anything manifested. For this my family and I thank you. And, yes we really mean it.
