I have found I have been represented very well. I’d have loved to pay less but feel I’ve received good value for what I’ve paid

Great experience, great representation! My lawyer kept me informed every step of the way! Final outcome - 50% with my kids, kept my house, kept my savings and no child support! Top notch team of professionals! Thank you C&C !

My attorney from Cordell and Cordell was terrific.
She was a very effective calming influence on me. It was a very emotional experience for me to get a divorce and I found a difficult at times to stay focused on what I needed to stay focused on and my attorney not only have sympathy for what I was going through but was able to keep me focused during the rough times. I recommend Cordell & Cordell to everyone I talk to and even to my son who is going through a rough time and his marriage. I had total confidence in my attorney from Cordell & Cordell

⚠️WARNING⚠️ ⛔⛔⛔ATTORNEY MILL⛔⛔⛔

Aviod Cordell like the Plague

I hired Cordell & Cordell in August of 2019. As of now, Feb 2020 I'm not divorced yet!!!!!
I hired them because I didn't know better. With over $13,000 paid to them, I had to fire Sarah before we ever even got to court!

My old attorney (from Cordell) seemed sympathetic towards my ex wife.
She charged me $750 to drive 30 minutes for a meeting.
Charged ridiculous amounts of money for phone calls and emails!

My new attorney says he could've had this wrapped up for under $5,000 in total because we didn't fight over any assets..

For the Dads rights ehh?
Go somewhere else and save yourself a PILE of money and frustration.
I CAN NOT recommend Cordell & Cordell in good conscious due to the incongruent billing practices and efficiency they provide.
I was over charged for a very inefficient experience in this already horrible time in my life.
I will never recommend or use this firm again.

-----------------UPDATE 2/25/2020--------------

Just got a follow up call from Cordell, the lady wanted to verbally survey me. After the survey we talked and I expressed to her my unhappiness over the high rates. She proceeded to justify, copious amounts of money spent for in my eyes, not much by reminding me of my signed documents pertaining to fees.

My response was "at that rate it'd be a $30,000 dollar divorce" her response was "that's certainly not out of the question".
I thought to myself, and you accomplish this by charging astronomical prices to depressed, mentally taxed clients whilst in the midst of one of the worst, trying times of their lifes. A $30,000 uncontested divorce certainly isn't out of the question if you don't know to keep shopping!!!

I still recommend finding a different firm to represent you for your divorce.
You could very possibly SAVE MORE MONEY than the divorce WILL COST in total, by going through some one else.

A very unsatisfied customer.

I was transferred to Cincy office after the negligence I received on my case from the Louisville office, and so far the experience has gotten worse and costs are astronomical. I get communication blatantly ignored, and the only way I can get a response is to CC corporate on any communication. After being charged over $5k in a few months time I asked them to please tell me just one thing they have done to help my case and they couldn’t. This year alone I’m at over $6k in charges that stem from just the charges occurred to try and correct the Louisville offices negligence. So they continue to profit off their mistake. Which is completely unethical. I’ve been promised a call after call to resolve and it never comes.

Hired Cordell and Cordell 3/11/19 to file for a divorce. 4/18/19 my wife filed. Did everything they asked and gave them everything right away. In that time frame I have an invoice for $6100 and got nothing. Not only am I now the defendant I gave them $6100 I will never see again and only thing they did was talk to me, talk to other people about my case and etc... Filed a counter claim. I withdrew them because at that pace no telling how much I would have been charged. Worse experience for someone going through such a horrible life experience. Not sure if they are good or not. Only thing I found out is they are great at taking money.

Cordell & Cordell handled my separation with great detail and my specific attorney, Kyra Rainey, impressed me beyond words. Kyra knew the law, was very empathetic, with great patience and a FIRST CLASS lady. Thank you Kyra for all your help.

I hired Kari Yeomans to help me with a brutal seven year divorce and try to navigate me through those waters. She did a wonderful job. She answered emails and calls very promptly and she did this all the time on a consistent basis. She did myself and my three kids a great service with her assistance and expertise and help. The bottom line is she helped me and I felt thankful for her guidance and her work on my case.

To anyone out there NEVER hire Cordell & Cordell to represent you. They use predatory practices and then overcharge you due to them knowing you are in a emotional situation. They are not for Father's but for the dollars. The lawyers have no reputation and will charge you for "Updates" that are written and mailed to you. This cost you money. Do not ever hire them unless you have thousands of $$$$$ to blow. I spent over 30K and ended up having to hire another lawyer because they continually charged me which turned into more retainer fees and monthly payments. You wonder why they have a full time collections department???
