Everyone I met here were extremely courteous and kind. PJ was direct and responded quickly to my emails which I appreciate. My bankruptcy was very simple to complete since I didn't have any assets and only filed because of a lawsuit from one of the creditors, but I was still nervous and wary of the process and met with 3 different lawyers who all said the same thing. PJ was the one who made me feel comfortable and didn't make me feel like I was just another invoice and I would definitely recommend him to others.

I needed help with a case against me from a former landlord. After several unanswered messages, I was told the day before the answer needed to be in that they could not help me. It was too late to find another attorney. I do not feel they operated in a courteous or professional office in my situation and I will be out a great deal of money because of it.

So I was being treated by another law firm Unscrupulously. They had made threats (that I had not realized were most unprofessional) Not only did they take care of my issue and most of took the time to explain the legal processes. they seemed genuinely angered by the unprofessional of the other law firm that they at their own expense had a federal judge reprimand the other lawyers. Filing Bankruptcy was one of the toughest things I've had to do in my life. From the very first meeting with Paul Minnillo, I was treated with compassion and not looked down upon for the situation I was in. I was very thankful for that. They prepared me well for my meeting with the trustee. They were quick to answer all my questions. They are very good at what they do. I highly recommend Minnillo & Jenkins!

I was under great debts because I believed in the American dream which obligated me into great debt and as a single woman I (1) purchased my own home and paid for the flaws that came with my home; (2) obtained 3 degrees (B.S. Industrial Engineering, B.A. Business Administration and an M.B.A. Master’s in Business Administration/Marketing); (3) brought and paid for 2 cars.

But as I was doing all of these things over a period of time, I lost one job due to plant closing, got another one and took a buy-out from a very racially managed company (GE Aviation) which originally I was not, according to their regulation entitled to, but was given because of their fear of a law suit and continued my education.

Once I finished my MBA, I tried to open my own Feng Shui consultant company but the economy had hit a bottom low and I was forced to once again look for work to pay my bills. This process took on different contract jobs but was not sustainable enough as my mortgage was being sold over and over to various mortgage companies and I could not keep up. I lost my paid-off car in an accident that was uninsured and I had a heart attack creating numerous debt.

The American dream was no longer a dream. It was a nightmare. What could I do! Answer, file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy which I did with great enthusiasm, and the company and person I contacted was Atty. Paul Minnillo of Minnillo & Jenkins. Atty. Minnillo made this a two-step process; filing and discharging my debt. We met only twice as I knew exactly what the requirements were and how to handle the process.
