Recently hired Charles for a traffic case. He was responsive to my phone calls and inquiries and accomplished exactly what he said he was going to do. Would recommend to anyone!

Horrible service. Granted I’m writing this from the opposing party but hear me out. You would think since Mr. Bender is an attorney he would be capable of maintaining a level of professionalism for both parties with having the capacity to present himself with compassion and understanding. However, this was NOT the case in my experience. During trial he would talk to my attorney in the conference room as if I wasn’t there and I was simply wasting his time. He whined more than my toddler child has ever done, during my trial. Sure I maybe just an upset Father that has to pay child support due to Missouri Laws and the misuse of the Form 14, but Mr. Bender could have been a little more understanding on how his impact only made my situation harder as a lovely Father of my child.

To: Mr. Bender, just because laws and forms state someone should be eligible for receiving child support, doesn’t mean it’s morally or ethically (or at least my opinion on what ethics is defined as) right. Yes, that is your job to fight these cases, but how do you sleep at night knowing you are ruining the other parent’s life and financially draining them? You are essentially pushing me out of my home and making it hard for me to survive with my daughter.

Lastly, at the very end Mr. Bender had ONE job that pertained to my case. All he had to do was file ONE form to allow me to login online and pay child support monthly. Instead he filled out the form for my employer to garnish my wages, I have a LEGAL right to voluntarily pay. He failed at filing this correctly twice, even after I got my attorney involved. I’m now writing a letter to the Judge to rectify Mr. Bender’s incompetence for completing simple paperwork. I will also be submitting a formal complaint about Mr. Bender’s performance (or lack of) to the Missouri Bar.

Mr. Bender, I was born and raised in this town and will be sharing my story about you to everyone I know. Shame on you Mr. Bender and I hope what’s left of your conscious will some day allow you to understand what you’re doing is wrong.

He was on his job and got my divorce done quickly. He was so easy to deal with and helping during this hard time I was going through. I would use him again if i had too.

Weak attorney. Doesn't stand up for clients or himself. He doesn't deliver the version of an agreement that was agreed upon . He does not communicate with his clients. He is a lesser attorney in the case in my opinion. The best thing he did was give me my back.

Horrible person to talk to was very judge mental in overpriced me on wanting a simple divorce. I don't recommend him to anyone. He also seems like a very game in I have nothing against gay people I love them but when you're so judge mental like that he deserves have no service

Recently I was asked by a friend for a referral to a good divorce attorney in Columbia. It was easy to recommend Charles Bender because he helped me so much a few years ago. But when I started thinking about that ugly time in my life, and how much easier working with him made it, I felt kind of bad for not having posted something positive about him sooner. I remember being struck by how professional he was, but also by his compassion. It was easy to talk with him, and he always answered my millions of questions.
