He laid out all of my options, explained them in detail in a way I had no trouble understanding, then he went through and clearly explained why he would or would not recommend each one. Ultimately, his recommendation was a course of action that didn't involve bankruptcy, and therefore made him no money. But he recommended what he thought would be best for me anyway.

In addition to all that, his demeanor was more than I ever could have hoped for. I never thought I would be in the position where I would need advice for bankruptcy! After being laid off 3 times within 5 years with the last year and a half still un-employed, I was out of un-employment and minimum payments.
