This was the absolute worst lawyer that I have ever had. I got a simple speeding ticket. They did not update me one time. I had to call every time and even when I did they wouldn’t ever answer or call me back. When I finally got in touch with them they put me on hold for 20 minutes and could not find my file. They didn’t apologize and were extremely rude about it. They may be cheap but they are not worth it at all!!!!!

Mr . Skager appears to be a nice person , but he is not an honest person . Let me tell you why I say that based on my experience in dealing with him . In Jan 2018 , I had a minor traffic violation - exceeding safe speed . In addition , I have no traffic violations over the past 7+ years , and I am over 70 years old . Because of these facts , Mr Skager lead me to believe that he would get my case dismissed , or , at the very worst , get a warning issued . It was my understanding that he was going to do one or the other , resulting in no fines or court costs . That is what he told me he would do .
He handled my case yesterday and I was told that he reduced my charge to improper equipment and that I would have to pay court costs and fines totaling $258.00 . I work more than 65 hours a week at 2 jobs in order to make ends meet . The last thing I needed was a totally unnecessary $258 bill . If Mr Skager had been honest with me and had done his job properly , I would not have had to pay anything . In short , he totally screwed me over , and I don’t appreciate it .

Mr Skager is the worst lawyer I ever hired! I have filed a complaint against his law firm with the BAR Association. He missed my court date and his secretary lied and said it was because of storms. He kept continuing the case 9 weeks even though I wanted it wrapped up. He is a liar and dishonest. He has cost me time out of work due to my license getting suspended. $200, dollars extra for ''Failure to Appear.'' $115.00 to get my license reinstated. And now I can't get the charge reduced so I have points. I would have been better off to just pay the ticket. He is a real a crook, steer clear! I would have given no stars but could not. The reason he is cheap is because he sucks. All these bad reviews, Skager says were never clients. Don't use this lawyer, find another one.I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE NC BAR ASSOCIATION. MR. SKAGER GOT A REPRIMAND. AND A $350.00 FINE, YOU CAN LOOK IT UP.

I had gotten two tickets in Greensboro. Eric Skager took care of them for me. The 1st one was only the court costs and no points. The second was totally dismissed! I was speechless and so grateful for him! Definitely glad I called him.

Eric made handling my speeding ticket easy. I am from Statesville and was traveling through High Point on the way to the beech. Unfortunately I was running too fast and got popped in High Point.
