Beware. .. Mr. Edwards was hired well over a year ago to represent my daughter in her bankruptcy. He charged $1,500 up front to file on her behalf. After months of not hearing from him or his staff...she called. Mr. Edwards informed her he was unable to get a court date. Ok, wait another few months...still nothing. She called again, this time he was unable to process the paperwork because of "computer glitches". Mr. Edwards finally decided he would return $800 of her initial payment (felt he should be paid for his work). I felt he should refund total amount he charged as he failed to do what he was hired to do......and readily admitted bankruptcy cases were not priorities for him. Really....he certainly put a priority on making sure he was paid. Only recourse is to sue him and report to the Georgia Bar Association.
