I love Cannon Disability Law.
My husband and myself both took advantage of their expertise in disability law. I had filled out my husband's paperwork. When we received the court date. Canon's attorney was professional, and anticipated what the Judge was going to ask for. And had info readily available. Needless to say, we both were awarded disability.

A year ago, I began reaching out to Cannon Disability for answers to questions about my potential disability. Dianna was so great- she talked with me several times on the phone, she met with me in person, and she answered every one of my questions and concerns.

I decided to go ahead and file for disability. I had purchased short and long term disability insurance through the place of my employment. I retired so that I could begin the federal disability process. Since I HAD retired, I thought I no longer had access to any of the insurance through my past employer. Again, Dianna was so helpful- she asked me to get a copy of my policy from my employment. Where I thought it said I had no access to any money, Dianna read it and understood it differently. I therethrough qualified and was able to receive short term disability for several months while waiting for my federal social security claim to be awarded.

Dianna and her group have been more than stellar in all the help they have given me: they have answered every one of my questions and I do mean, EVERY one of them; as it came time to fill out forms and gather needed documentation, they have been right there, helping me in EVERY way imaginable.

Within five months of filing my claim, I have received the social security disability I am in need of. This process would NEVER have played out this quickly if not for Dianna Cannon and her disability group. They are exceptionally qualified in this work that they do for you and me.

I would highly recommend that you reach out to Ms. Cannon if you have any questions at all or are beginning the process of filing a disability claim. She truly cares about each person who comes to her for help. She, along with her paralegals and office management, are gifted and will do all they can to help you get your disability claim answered and accepted.

I had a very awesome experience with all staff that I had contact with and helping in the right direction to proceed. I am very thankful for the help that Brett Bunkal gave and his experience in the courtroom. I'm thankful for the help that Andrea Summers gave me after I was granted my disability in helping understand everything that was given to me in all the information that Social Security gives you for Medicare. Overall I would recommend Cannon Disability to anyone who needs the help navigating the Social Security process that is so tough to do on your own.

I hired Cannon Disability Law to help me with my case after being denied twice I decided to hire them to help me. I suffer from chronic migraine and I was skeptical about getting my benefits granted. Cannon Disability assured me that they would not have taken my case if they didnt feel they could win. I used them for 2 years and they won my case. I was happy with the service I received from the bottom to the top. After my case was awarded they didnt stop there they helped me pick out the right Medicare benefits for me and kept tabs on my back pay. They were awesome I would reccomend them to anyone.

I was disabled in a Motor Vehicle Accident. After numerous surgeries and procedures I was left in chronic constant pain. I knew that I was not prepared to try for disability on my own accord. I met with Andrea Summers who was assigned to my case. She explained in detail what the process would be. I was denied for Disability twice. Andrea said that this was normal in some cases. I received an appeal letter. With Andrea's expertise, we filed the appeal and waited to go before a judge. I was nervous and anxious at the mere thought of going in front of the judge. The day before, she set a time and called me. Together we went over all the different scenarios and what to expect. Through out this process, Andrea was a true professional. She made me feel like a person, instead of just another number. She was always willing to answer my endless questions and made me feel at ease with the whole process. I would highly recommend Cannon Disability to anyone seeking disability.

My attorney and the folks at this firm were great. I felt like they really cared about what has been happening to me the last few years. I haven't been able to work or support my family and the fact that the government kept denying my case has been unreal. Thx to the work of Cannon the judge actually listened and I got my first check yesterday. A friend referred me here and I'm so glad he did. If you need an honest lawyer who cares about your disability, go here. Thanks again to Cannon Law for not giving up.

Cannon lied again. They told me my lawyer had quit. She did not. She showed up to my hearing when I ended up in the hospital. She ordered me back on my meds. I was on my meds. However, she was not informed that the HOSPITAL HAD TAKEN AWAY SOME OF MY MEDS THAT WILL NOT BE GIVEN BACK!!! I have tried to contact her. These same meds are the same meds that apparently were also saving my heart. My heart is now also giving out now that these meds are gone and so the COURT ORDER TO GIVE THESE MEDS BACK ARE NOT BEING GIVEN BACK because no one wrote any court order instructions down!!!! I have contacted Cannon for help. NO RETURNED CALLS!!! Thanks. Now I have heart problems too. The U of U took away the meds for my ADHD and AXIETY, & its put too much pressure on my heart that now my heart is now failing!!!! So my PSYCH DOC WILL NOT GIVE THEM BACK. Thanks for ignoring my calls too!!!

Diana Cannon argued my case personally in front of a judge in person here in Salt Lake City. They don't do hearings over the TV, which is always detrimental to any case. They never choose the option to do that which is just one of the many good choices they make when they prepare your case.

She met with me the day before the case to help me prepare, letting me know what would be asked, what was expected, what to wear, how to behave with respect and to always be honest. She is on the level and if you are a client of hers you are in good hands.

She grilled me solidly without pulling any punches in the prep the day before and it was very hard. She knows how to show plainly and give real-time examples of how your particular disability expresses itself and how it is debilitating no matter how hard it may be on you. She won my case.

I highly recommend her if you are looking for help. Other lawyers in town will take your case and only send in the paperwork thinking that that is all they need to do expecting you to do the rest while they take the money if they happen to get lucky. She is a first rate, top shelf lawyer and will do what it takes to help you get the help that is always desperately needed.

MOST OUTSTANDING RESULTS--GRAND SLAM HOMERUN
COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT CANNON DISABILITY LAW
and I had tried by myself and tried to get other attorney.
IF YOUR ARE NEEDING A DISABILITY ATTORNEY...
.....LOOK NO FURTHER THAN CANNO DISABILITY LAW.
I'm a disabled veteran, my VA rating changed over the past twenty years starting at 30% and after my first heart attack I was upgraded to a VA rating of 100%. and had to take a lot of time off from my job at the time. went to social security and applied for disability. was denied several times, finally applied for early SS regular retirement. and tried to follow up on SS disability denied again, went to two other disability attorneys,
first one flat refused my case the seconded was advertising helping veteran's with a VA rating. but after he heard my case and stating I had a great chance to win, declined to take my case, as I was already receiving regular (early) retirement SS. (no or very little money in it for him in the back pay after we win.)

CANNON DISABILITY LAW really stands up for the little guy, no matter. they wanted to RIGHT THE WRONG and help a veteran in need.
truly a HERO IN MY EYES. After more than a year, SS wanted to do a tele-conference but I was advised to have a local in person ALJ to meet with me and decide the case. well to get a court date took another year. but it was well worth the wait.

The judge opened court, my attorney advised some of the documents the government had prefilled, were not my records, not my pay file, and not my job description. so out with it. then witness advised the judge my current multi disabilities documented from medical records in the military, VA hospital and Kaiser Hospital would prevent me from working in my usual job and most any new opportunity for anyone at my current age over 62. although the courtroom was scheduled for a two hour period, he ruled in my favor in less than 10 minutes.

They were really great to work with. There were a few problems with my lump sum payment taking longer than anticipated, but this had to do with Social Security, & not Canon. My case was very unique to most, & not the typical type of payments, so I’m sure it is not a common problem. They were doing their job to the best extent they were able. Social security was pushing their faults onto my lawyers, when it was in fact nothing to do with my lawyers at Canon. My lawyers were sure to help figure everything out for me. During the process of applying, hearings, getting medical records, etc. they were fantastic. They went above, & beyond for me the entire time. I was very satisfied doing business with them, & will be recommending them to any one I may come across that is looking for a SSD law firm. Thank you Canon.

It was a pleasure to work with these guys. Even though we only collaborated for a short 6 month period due to me moving out of state, they were very professional and courteous in handling all manners of business with me. Unfortunately they were unable to continue assisting me with my case out here in California but they sent me a CD in the mail with all info regarding my case to pass onto my next lawyer, and even gave me a few referrals for lawyers out in my new area. Kerry was especially great to work with and the one who helped me out the most with my situation. I highly recommend going through Cannon Disability Law for disability claims in Utah. Thank you guys and I appreciate all of your hard work with helping me out in my journey.

Much to my surprise I was approved for SocSec disability on the first application. The screening interview was thorough and pleasant. I, my friend, family, didn't think I had much of a case, but obviously I did. During the process the follow up with various staff on some docs issues and correspondence with SocSec, was timely and effective. From start to finish it took 7 months. I'd say to anyone that if Cannon Law takes your case it's because you have a good one. I am glad I did not attempt this on my own. The contingency basis agreement was very fair and I think they earned every penny. When they told me they would back me throughout any and all appeals and any case to a SocSec judge, I was prepared to be it it for the long haul. But when I got the decision in my favor sooner I was overwhelmed with gratitude.  had to pinch myself! And now its a few months into receiving benefits. That's such a relief! My friends and family doubted I'd succeed, I questioned it too, but Cannon Law knows a thing or two about all this. Thank you , very much appreciated..

I tried submitting my case and lost twice. The system is not good to those that try it themselves; in fact, it's impossible to navigate the waters by ones self. I felt good when I have them my case but, was still skeptical, since I've also lost other cases in courts, like Workman's Comp. At any rate, I was impressed with their intake, answering or returning my calls, although, like any good restaurant or attorney, they are very busy. My case seemed difficult because of the length of time I had been without ability to earn a living, trying to survive; especially, after going thru 2yrs of Workman's Comp and another year attempting to live off of savings and investments, till broke. Once I hired Cannon Disability Law, I began to get good advice and, though it's still a waiting game with the Disability System, things began to look up. My biggest concern was that Disability would only make a determination by coming in for the hearing. I was coached properly. At this point, a good attorney is worth their weight in gold. It's not that there is any deception going on from my position or representation, but the judge is looking for one or two simple answers to wrap up and make a decision. I can't rave enough about how important a good attorney is! My attorney made sure we got everything possible, from the main decision, to back pay (back-dated + additional 6months) and medical. I will never be able to return to my good paying job but, at least I will have a decent life and be able to live comfortably vs homeless and ...all I can say is, "Thank you, Cannon Disability Law, for doing such a perfect and fine job handling my case!"

3 Years After I Filed and Ms. Cannon Won My Case - This has been the hardest 3 years of my life and I know I could not have got through it without Ms. Cannon and all the staff at her law firm. She got all my records and sent them in three times and wrote to the judge to get him to grant my case, but we still had to go a hearing. Which was fine because in the end she talked to the judge and explained my case and helped me answer the questions. My experience with Cannon Disability Law was very professional and very helpful. I had a dependent family member who was suffering terribly from what we would learn later was PTSD. The advice I got was compassionate, informative and above all candid. As we got this family member into therapy (and on medication) we realized that we were not going to have to initiate Social Security disability for him. I feel that I am getting the highest level of representation, caring for, and personal attention that exceeds my highest expectations. After all, I am trusting them with my life, and they treat me in a way that proves to me that they feel like my life is important. Getting disability is difficult, in my case, it's a bigger challenge. I would have been overwhelmed by the process. I called to find out what I needed to do to file. I have had Multiple Sclerosis for 25 yrs. The intake person asked me if I was still working. I was at the time. They said that they couldn't help me until after I have been denied and wasn't working anymore. A few months later when I quit working, filed and was denied for "not having worked enough", I called back. They denied ever having told me that. I have worked all my life, but for 3 of the last 10 yrs I owned a business that did not make profit so I didn't pay in, and the 2 yrs prior to that I worked my farm and didn't pay in. They should have asked my work "history". Even though I have paid in as an RN and other jobs earlier in my work history, it doesn't matter. Only the last 10 yrs count. The intake person wouldn't listen to me. Told me she was going to hang up on me when I complained that I was doing what they had told me and now they won't help. Whatever. They sound so sincere on TV like they REALLY want to help. Would have been NO stars but you have to pick one to post. To be fair, it was the same thing other attorney offices said when I called for info. Why don't they tell you about the 10 years??????

Should be 0 stars. They had been "working" on my case for 2 years. I say "working" because I was the one that went and gathered and paid for my own medical records, because "we wouldn't want to have to collect them ourselves and then charge you". Then after 2 years of NEVER getting called or even talking to an actual attorney, they call me to tell me that "your hearing date has been set, but all of attorneys are going to be in California that day, so here's a referral number to get a new attorney, good luck we will sign a fee waiver though". This is by far the the most unethical, unprofessional, down right sickening treatment, that I have ever been subjected to by anyone in my life. My world came crashing down around me and I was sent into a tailspin for days after that call. I wouldn't wish being blindsided like that on anyone. Beware.

This is incredible. This is exactly what they did to me. Leaving me without a lawyer and me having to look for a new one.
I am in a hard place now because they have left me without representation.

Wish I could give no stars. I did all the work to get one sons disability, I asked them to put in an appeal for second son when he was rejected, they "misplaced the paperwork" so the case closed. I angrily spoke with the attorney, she "pulled strings" to get a hearing. Been waiting 28 months, one month to go and I get a call saying that too many hearings were scheduled, and the attorneys made the decision that my son would be dropped and I have 1 month to find a new attorney and bring them up to speed.
Unprofessional, unethical and undeniably idiotic. I would have done better on my own. Trained monkeys could have done better.

A true disappoint. I made way too much effort with this firm. Information on my claim was very difficult to get. When I was able to speak with these folks the information they provided was often incorrect or pure speculation. After four years I was awarded a positive judgment, but I wonder if a more consistent firm would have taken four years and created far too much stress.

Cannon Disability Law goes above and beyond for their clients. Dianna Cannon is tenacious and passionately fights for her clients seeking assistance from an increasingly skeptical and dismissive Social Security structure set up to deny even legitimately disabled inquirers. I wish we would have went with you. My wife has MS not mild at all and I have watched her health decline for over 20 months that is how long David Holdsworth has been handling her case, he is not actively pursuing her case. I need to find a way to fire him he isn't doing anything for her. She's been denied twice he has files all over he floor takes way too many cases its just him and his son and if you don't have the same religious views as him he just throws you on the back burner takes weeks to send info to you or communicate at all he is all about his money tho guarantee he takes every cent he is entitled to

The lawyers and the staff at Cannon helped me win my case. I couldn't have gone in front of the judge without them. I am very happy with them.

Dianna did a great job with my sisters case, in fact she won it for her. I have to admit she was pretty rough around the edges at 1st, but we get it now. She was playing devils advocate preparing her for the worst case scenario. Thank you Dianna....
