My husband and myself both took advantage of their expertise in disability law. I had filled out my husband's paperwork. When we received the court date. Canon's attorney was professional, and anticipated what the Judge was going to ask for. And had info readily available. Needless to say, we both were awarded disability.
I decided to go ahead and file for disability. I had purchased short and long term disability insurance through the place of my employment. I retired so that I could begin the federal disability process. Since I HAD retired, I thought I no longer had access to any of the insurance through my past employer. Again, Dianna was so helpful- she asked me to get a copy of my policy from my employment. Where I thought it said I had no access to any money, Dianna read it and understood it differently. I therethrough qualified and was able to receive short term disability for several months while waiting for my federal social security claim to be awarded.
Dianna and her group have been more than stellar in all the help they have given me: they have answered every one of my questions and I do mean, EVERY one of them; as it came time to fill out forms and gather needed documentation, they have been right there, helping me in EVERY way imaginable.
Within five months of filing my claim, I have received the social security disability I am in need of. This process would NEVER have played out this quickly if not for Dianna Cannon and her disability group. They are exceptionally qualified in this work that they do for you and me.
I would highly recommend that you reach out to Ms. Cannon if you have any questions at all or are beginning the process of filing a disability claim. She truly cares about each person who comes to her for help. She, along with her paralegals and office management, are gifted and will do all they can to help you get your disability claim answered and accepted.
She met with me the day before the case to help me prepare, letting me know what would be asked, what was expected, what to wear, how to behave with respect and to always be honest. She is on the level and if you are a client of hers you are in good hands.
She grilled me solidly without pulling any punches in the prep the day before and it was very hard. She knows how to show plainly and give real-time examples of how your particular disability expresses itself and how it is debilitating no matter how hard it may be on you. She won my case.
I highly recommend her if you are looking for help. Other lawyers in town will take your case and only send in the paperwork thinking that that is all they need to do expecting you to do the rest while they take the money if they happen to get lucky. She is a first rate, top shelf lawyer and will do what it takes to help you get the help that is always desperately needed.
COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT CANNON DISABILITY LAW
and I had tried by myself and tried to get other attorney.
IF YOUR ARE NEEDING A DISABILITY ATTORNEY...
.....LOOK NO FURTHER THAN CANNO DISABILITY LAW.
I'm a disabled veteran, my VA rating changed over the past twenty years starting at 30% and after my first heart attack I was upgraded to a VA rating of 100%. and had to take a lot of time off from my job at the time. went to social security and applied for disability. was denied several times, finally applied for early SS regular retirement. and tried to follow up on SS disability denied again, went to two other disability attorneys,
first one flat refused my case the seconded was advertising helping veteran's with a VA rating. but after he heard my case and stating I had a great chance to win, declined to take my case, as I was already receiving regular (early) retirement SS. (no or very little money in it for him in the back pay after we win.)
CANNON DISABILITY LAW really stands up for the little guy, no matter. they wanted to RIGHT THE WRONG and help a veteran in need.
truly a HERO IN MY EYES. After more than a year, SS wanted to do a tele-conference but I was advised to have a local in person ALJ to meet with me and decide the case. well to get a court date took another year. but it was well worth the wait.
The judge opened court, my attorney advised some of the documents the government had prefilled, were not my records, not my pay file, and not my job description. so out with it. then witness advised the judge my current multi disabilities documented from medical records in the military, VA hospital and Kaiser Hospital would prevent me from working in my usual job and most any new opportunity for anyone at my current age over 62. although the courtroom was scheduled for a two hour period, he ruled in my favor in less than 10 minutes.
Their commercials made it sound like they really cared and I wanted to use a local firm so I called them. After some miscommunications we spoke and are walking me through the process.
So far so good

Should be 0 stars. They had been "working" on my case for 2 years. I say "working" because I was the one that went and gathered and paid for my own medical records, because "we wouldn't want to have to collect them ourselves and then charge you". Then after 2 years of NEVER getting called or even talking to an actual attorney, they call me to tell me that "your hearing date has been set, but all of attorneys are going to be in California that day, so here's a referral number to get a new attorney, good luck we will sign a fee waiver though". This is by far the the most unethical, unprofessional, down right sickening treatment, that I have ever been subjected to by anyone in my life. My world came crashing down around me and I was sent into a tailspin for days after that call. I wouldn't wish being blindsided like that on anyone. Beware.
This is incredible. This is exactly what they did to me. Leaving me without a lawyer and me having to look for a new one.
I am in a hard place now because they have left me without representation.
Unprofessional, unethical and undeniably idiotic. I would have done better on my own. Trained monkeys could have done better.
