Have been using them for a long time and it is definitely worth the money for a small business owner.
They have some work to do on their ask a lawyer stuff but their customer service makes up for it.

I do not like to give bad grades, here but I know what affects to get clients, because I also have business and many people complain to get some benefit or just to hurt. but they have given me a deplorable service, I asked them to register a florida corporation in the state of california in SEPTEMBER, and they always pass me with another person and there is no continuity, they do not answer the emails, so as not to make the comment long , instead of signing up the corporation in california they made me dissolve in florida and this procedure I asked for in SEPTEMBER and I paid a lot for the service, which should be for a week, now they tell me that the guilty party was fired, and, that I win with that, I need you to solve me and stop blaming others.

First page tells me it's free to make a document. Then they ask for my credit card info to get the document I need after taking the time to make it. Wasted my time, don't waste yours.

Rocketlawyer is definately a scam... I honestly liked being able to just type up a contract on the fly. But 7 months in of paying monthly they tell me that I have paid more than the amount for an annual subscription in monthly form. So they were going to refund me what i over paid and sign me up for the annual subscription... never got a refund. They charged me $280 bucks instead! Somehow they bypassed the 3 day hold at my bank so it hard posted before i could reject the transaction. I tell them to refund what they charged me... ohh but theres a 7 day hold. And then they cancel my subscription... we will see if i ever get my money back.
Lots of people saying its a scam... wish i knew it before I had two jobs waiting on these theives to give me my money back.

UPDATE: I indeed was refunded, they actually refunded more than was charged in good faith. So it seems they are at least trying to change their reputation. I will change review from 1 star to 3 simply because it was still very intentionally misleading by the person who charged my account without authorization. NOTE: It was an obviously well thought out and scripted statement I was given after he started defending it.

It's tough enough to start up a new business with out getting screwed for the beginning.

I called and cancelled the free trial after 2 days. Called another time to make sure and they said it was cancelled. They never cancelled it and billed me anyway. Now it is going to take 2 weeks to refund me? Funny how they can take your money in 1 second but can't give it back for 2 weeks even though they rightfully owe me. And then they tried to sell me on a special afterward. HA! Not in a million years! I will never use this company and I will tell everyone else the same if they are ever in need of documents. What a joke.

I purchased one Quit Claim Deed form from them several months ago. First the state county clerk would not accept it.
Second they continually bill me 39 95 a month and you can't get them to stop the monthly billing.

Deceptive - This company took my credit card information for the 7 day trial but I never received any confirmation email from them that my account had been activated or any sort of billing notice. I thought I had cancelled the 7 day trial only to find out that they had been billing me for 6 months and apparently I had missed it on my card statement because I'm pretty diligent about looking at it. When I called in to cancel it the CSA said on her end it looked like the welcome email did get sent but that it had never been opened. But when she sent me my cancellation emails those came through immediately which tells me the initial email did not go to a junk or spam folder. I got two months refund but I will be fighting for the balance owed me. I thought the days of deceptive short term trials were over through regulation but somehow these guys have figured out how to cheat the system. No confirmation email, no billing statements and no confirmation of cancellation of the trial period.

DECEPTIVE waste of time-- It says in bold letter that you can create and download a document for free. Only after investing a large amount of time to enter all the info required do you learn that you have to provide a credit card. Yes, you can get a 7 day trial but only after you enter your card number. You would then have to cancel later. The default is that you get charged unless you jump through hoops to avoid it. That is the opposite of what they convey up front. I don't like being tricked.

After some concern I had regarding an unexpected charge to my account, Sujeit Chacon in customer support was quick to reply and handled the situation to my satisfaction. The service is great and the customer support is top notch.

They are fraud. They could not even provide ANY lawyer for transportation. The also just tried to steal $500 from my bank account a year after I dumped them. All they want is your contact info, DO NO BUSINESS with these SCAMMERS!!

I cannot express how pleased I was with Rocket Lawyer. The services they provide were excellent and the customer service was exceptional.

This place is a scam. They say it is free for the first document but you answer all the questions and then they want your Credit Card before you finish. Then they spam the hell out of you!
