Big waste of time I sit down with someone who cuts me off every 5 Seconds tells me to hold on while they finish writing then acts as if I'm bothering them or wasting their time I have documents which my employer forged yet they tell me I don't have a strong enough case don't call these people

My case just recently settled and I wanted to write a review about my experience here. I gave five stars because my lawyer Mike Reilly was really great. He always kept me informed with my case and always explained things to me and was very polite . He was super respectful and looked out for my best interest the whole time. I do have to say though that was a review on him and I was very pleased however, I did at other times have contact with another attorney at the firm that I was not pleased with. Like some other reviews that I’ve read I do not recommend this law office.. I went through their two steps of review after sitting down with them two months later I get a phone call and a letter that they are taking my case and moving forward with legal action against my former employer. now (8) months after they excepted my case I receive an email not even the courtesy of a phone call saying that they’re They have a taken ian additional review of my case and unfortunately At the manner is not Strong enough to Support considerable risk for their firm Mind you I will repeat this is after we’ve signed in a agreed to take my case 8 months ago.. when I called to speak for more information or more details to why they are not taking my case I pretty much got the runaround by one of the head attorneys Kevin.. My recommendation would be to find another firm else and not deal with people that want to waste other people’s time.. PS I did get offered that they will take my case on an hourly basis so Just makes me lead to believe like someone else said that they’re nothing but a scam artist

I actually suspect that this Law Firm (Costello & Mains, LLC) are a front and not truly looking to help the employees of any company. my senses tell me that their funded by big business and corrupt corporations in order to discourage employees from taking a stand or getting any kind of help. I'll tell you why. After speaking to one of their attorneys (I believe she was from the Mains side of this law firm) and asking her if I have a written contract that was signed by me, my manager, my store manager, and my HR manager, at the time I was hired, which same agreement is also on record at the corporate head quarters data base, was a binding contract / agreement, The attorney at Costello & Mains LLC told me flat out that my company can decide at any time that they can breach the terms of my contract or any contract for that matter without any legal recourse. (The reason I called this law firm was because my current boss came to me last week and told me that she was not going to honor my agreement any longer and that, I was subject to what every hours or days they want me to work ) Which has created a major hardship in my life, I worked morning hours in order to make it to my second job in the afternoon (I have 5 kids and I need to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table) all things considered the agreement was the only reason I singed on to work at this company in the first place. I'm no lawyer but from what I've experienced real lawyers sue all day long over breached agreements and breached contracts But the good Lawyers at Costello & Mains LLC don't believe that a contract is to important especially to us bottom feeding employees. They don't believe there is anything wrong if an employer or anyone for that matter wants to completely and with bad intent breach the terms of a singed agreement or contract. So If you're looking for a law firm that's on your bosses side you found them in Costello & Mains LLC This is why they pop up first on the Internet because I'm assuming that the "Man", big business, and mega corporations fund this law firm and keep them on the top of the search engine in order to tell you that you don't have any legal rights in your workplace.

If I could rate this practice zero stars I would. I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with the female attorney. She was not interested in listening to my complaint or taking in the extensive details of prolonged cumulative issues that in my experience have never been resolved and continue to this very day. When I told her that I have supporting documents and that an attorney can subpoena emails as supporting documents to my claims. She said that they “cannot create evidence.” Which I found interesting because I thought that subpoenaing emails That already exist was called “discovery.” I thought we were supposed to hire attorneys to do the legal things that we cannot do through the courts. I guess she doesn’t believe in investigating claims or maybe this practice is a lazy and incompetent practice that expects people to do the hard work for them. Here I thought we hired attorneys for that.

I called for help the rude woman I spoke to interrogated me like a common criminal! Made me out to be the bad guy! If she was a lawyer fire her! If she is getting new clients get rid of her. She was rude, unsympathetic and down right disrespectful! I have enough of that with my situation I don't need it from you. Find a different lawyer please!

I was called by Mains and told her I had a panic attack and was medicated yet she kept pressing harshly for details and seemed inconvenienced by me as I was not in a state of mind to give her the answers she wanted. She was condescending and presented with an non compassionate personality that exacerbated my symptoms of anxiety further due to my negative interaction with her which caused me to terminate the free consultation and hang up. I cannot speak for the other lawyers. The one star is for her as my whole night was ruined and filled w anxiety as a result of my phone interaction with her and lack of compassion as evidenced by demeanor . You never know what someone is going though so patience on her end would have been appreciated especially since I already told her I had a panic attack earlier and was medicated. Life is too short. Love people and be good to them because you don’t know what people may be going through in their lives.

I did not perceive that to be and if Mains who I told multiple times I was medicated and had a panic attack then she should have changed her tone or asked to speak to me on another day. Prior to her I had phone consultations that went way better with other attorneys.

My expectations were definitely met. I was engaged every step of the way. They sent crisp and timely communication so I knew where my case was every day. Communication by mail or voice was frequent and to the point. Kevin understands how a millennial chooses to communicate. But for others, he will make himself accessible by text, E-Mail, and in his office. If I was unsure about anything, Kevin was always one step ahead breaking things down in a way could understand. He will use real life examples including sports metaphors, to help your understanding of legal concepts or make clear what the likely response would be from the legal process or from the opposing legal counsel. He will act as your advocate and bring whatever resources he needs to help resolve the case in your favor.

Took my case after an initial consultation and signing contract. A demand letter was sent to my ex employer and since there was no response in return they walked away from the case instead of pursuing it further and wasting my time the last 2 months. I could have sent a letter myself without obtaining an attorney. Their response was the evidence may not be strong enough..... how do you know unless you keep going.
I had to call them to find out where my case stood otherwise they would have just sat there and did nothing.
