Terrible law firm. They don't listen to client request. DO NOT LET THEM REPRESENT YOU IN A CHILD CUSTODY CASE.

We were only seeking visitation rights, and the other side offered visitation... maybe if they were free. I later learned our counsel should have said, we will take the three days but let us be SPECIFIC. 1 day in this month, 1 day in this month, and 1 day in this month, each year, AND make it part of the adoption decree as a post-adoption visitation schedule. [THIS FREE ADVICE I GOT IN 5 MINUTES FROM A STRANGER was worth more than the THOUSANDS i sunk into this firm, for them to tell me, do you wan to take or leave their offer that doesn't guarantee anything and isn't ENFORCEABLE]. It was too late for our family though.

Why didn't our lawyer advise us?

Also the COUNTY CLERK recommended this firm when I asked for advice on who has a good relationship with the court because we were in a different state. Pockets in Pockets. I had seen one bad review, but believed the clerk. I don't know how I didn't see all these other terrible reviews at that time.

This firm represented (if that's what you call it) my sister. They did Nothing for her behalf, but charge her til she is penniless! Her ex was contempt over several judgements and they did nothing! I think he was in the pocket of her ex with the ludicrous things he allowed to happen! If you want a divorce... And a fair representation ... Go elsewhere!

Horrible experience. Hardly ever hot a phone call back. He didn't put up a fight, he only agreed to what the other lawyer wanted. Total waste of my money. I got another lawyer and she won for me

Greedy firm. I used them for years and paid them a ton of money. After my case was over they represented my husbands ex in court against my husband and myself. I told them it was a conflict of interest and that i did not agree with it. They ignored and still represented her. I quit paying on my balance because they are greedy and unethical people! They then took me to court for my balance but did not allow me to tell the judge what they did to me. They are now garnishing my wages. I have reported them to the Ohio Attorney Board. Do not trust them, they care nothing about Attorney-Client relationships or helping others it is all about money to them!!!

I called 4 days left 3 messages throughout 1 week and got 0 calls back. I talked to the receptionist every time but she was little to no help. Would not recommend.

Andrew Pratt is the best attorney I have ever worked with. He was able to solve every problem I had and he was not over priced and was flexible with payments for his services.

I retained Jay Lopez towards the end of 2013, paid a retainer and signed an agreement of representation with his firm (Lopez Severt, and Pratt) with him as my representing attorney. I then found that it was very difficult to communicate with Jay. I can't recall ever receiving a return telephone call from him, and after looking through my documentation I found only three instances where he sent replies to email messages that I initiated with him. His record keeping was sloppy (a yellow folder for my ENTIRE case), and no memory of facts from one meeting to the next. I was forced to terminate the service. His brother Justin then sued me in small claims court for billed time after termination. They provided false documents of service to the court which then allowed them to garnish wages for a judgement I knew nothing about. When telephoned requesting information, the receptionist hung up on me. Be very cautious and stay away from this guy and his firm.
