...communication is horrible- someone I know, reached out several times via email; and rather than have the decency to respond to emails that he was once corresponding to, he just completely “stopped” emailing- I just feel a professional way to have handled the situation would have been to MERELY email back and politely cease the matter- it was just a bit tacky-
