I dont see many mentions of Zach Smith here. He deserves to be recognized. I took my time and did plenty of research to find a lawyer when I found Trapp law. My case was tough I knew, so I needed to be sure I brought it to the right firm. I originally set a phone appointment to meet with Angela Trapp and by mistake showed up at the office. Zach Smith was flexible and able to meet me immediately to hear my case.

At first I admit I was hesitant because my confidence was with Angela. The more Zach and I spoke though the more I was able to see why she made him a part of Trapp law. He got to the point. He kept focus on the most important pieces of the case, and mostly he wanted to win.

He also knew many attorneys and magistrates within several IN counties, which somehow seems to always play an important role in the outcome of your case. Having an attorney with connections is powerful.

I dont think he knows how grateful I am but I am forever appreciative.

I was already in an unimaginably painful and difficult situation, and Angela and Zach unfortunately did not help but only added more stress to the situation. It was incredibly difficult to get a response from them to any questions or concerns. They delayed my case causing the entire thing to cost more; I ended up losing money, both in fees and in the settlement because of their delays.
Do not be deceived by Angela's supposed background in domestic violence. She does not get it. If you're divorcing a narcissist, keep looking!!
Be aware they charge for every. little. phone call or email. Even just a call to set an appointment was charged at .10 of an hour - this happened to both me and my dad multiple times!
They also charged the $200 consultation fee, even after saying it was "waived" if they were hired --I hired them on the spot. Be sure to double check your itemized bill if you do hire this firm.
In response to Angela below, they did in fact delay my case. I hired them end of march and already had court scheduled for mid April. My court date was moved to June 6 and then Angela strong-armed me into mediation (it was not at my request, as she claims; anyone familiar with DV knows mediation is never recommended with an abuser). She moved my mediation to September! Yes, she delayed my case. Multiple times. She didn't listen, and doesn't take DV seriously.

I had a great experience with this firm. They were timely, professional and personable. They took care of everything, where my former attorney dropped every ball and left me holding the bag. They are also affordable. I definitely recommend this group.

Trapp law was great, I had a lawyer hire before I hire Trapp , the first lawyer had 3 months to get a plea bargain and never did so, so I hired trap law and they got me a good plea with in 2 weeks , Peter fouts was my lawyer from Trapp and he was great, real nice guy, always responds to emails quickly with good information to my questions, I wish I would have hired them from the start, also very reasonable service rates, I am very please with my experience with Trapp law , would strongly recommend there services to anyone.

I came to Angela after being drug around by more than one lawyer. Even though it was a struggle she got me custody of my daughter. And got my case moving forward. This law firm is a joke they will switch up often one minute Zach is handling your case an the next it’s angela They don’t let you know they charge you for everything! Phone calls that they make to you ! Emails ! In person visit they don’t respond back but can send invoices to your email ! I honestly can’t even tell you how Angela an Zach are cause the entire time I communicated with the receptionist Brandie the entire process !! they screwed me over big time this law firm is only about the $$$ they can care less about you or your situation my first time ever hiring a lawyer an after dealing with Angela I will never get another one on another note Brandie was awesome she actually listened and showed somewhat that she cared an she just the receptionist -ladawnna D

The Trapp law office provided a chance for me to get the best out come out of my divorce case. I was in a little bit of a struggle financial during my case due to a injury I received from military service and she personally worked with me to ensure I received services and could make payments that I could afford but I was still made a priority.
