The NNIC is a rare and precious resource for Northern Nevada, as both a window for Nevadans looking for opportunities for growth in this world as well as a welcoming and dignified invitation for people around the world to come to learn about not just Northern Nevada but the awesome beauty of the entire United States of America and its magnificent people. The NNIC is a necessary inoculation against unnecessary isolation and damaging nearsightedness.

Dear ms. Carina A. Black,
Executive Director of NNIC- I believe that our great nation should be a refuge to all in need regardless of race, religion or any other factor. Please read the Exuctive Order before you stir up lies and create stress for those of us that care about our community. Your biased rhetoric that has no basis only drives a greater wedge into our world. And you push groups like the ACLU as if they actually care about these refugees that need our help and love. Not only do I love Islam but I also employee several of the muslim faith in Northern Nevada. But your comments come with hate and no real solutions.
Shame and sadness from my family that was very hopefull in the NNIC and the refugee program, instead you have tarnished it, by using its good cuase as a podium for your hate and political propoganda.
