I had a great experience with my recent consultation and in the past with retaining Rani. She is a very highly experienced attorney. If you are seeking an employment attorney, you won't be dissatisfied with this firm.

Only if you can afford to pay $600 per hour; Alan Lescht handled a case for me, eleven years ago; and I was referred to Alan Lescht by a coworker who was equally pleased. Unfortunately, Alan Lescht now charges $600 per hour for his own time and about $400 per hour for each of his associate attorneys. Employment cases can easily cost tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees, paid up front. Alan Lescht is definitely the best. But can you afford it? I can't.

I contacted Alan Lecht & Associates over two years ago. I needed counsel in a removal case against my agency. I spoke with Ms. Joyce Dozier initially and explained my situation. She was both genuine and attentive as I explained to her what I was experiencing. She recommended Victoria Williamson as the best attorney for my case. After speaking with Ms. Williamson, I decided to retain her as counsel. From the beginning, she was very professional and honest. Her professionalism, knowledge, and passion towards law let me know I had the best attorney for the case. There was never a time where I was confused, felt ignored, or was unable to contact her. Ms. Williamson always showed concern and was compassionate towards my situation.
Ms. Williamson initially represented me in a removal case. Although I was stressed, her confidence let me know that we were going to win. After the first success, I knew it was in my best interest to retain her for my EEO case. I’m a disabled veteran who suffers from PTSD. Ms. Williamson understood this and was always very supportive and encouraging. Not once did I feel as if she didn’t care about me as a client.
The EEO case lasted quite a while. However, Ms. Williamson always kept in touch and we would keep one another informed of any new details or developments. During the settlement phase of the case, Ms. Williamson once again showed up with that confidence and determination she so elegantly displays. She went above and beyond the call of duty over the last two years. I always tell her she is an angel on earth. I’m forever grateful to her. Her knowledge and expertise are superb. She is highly recommended.

I am so glad to have been represented by attorney Susan Kruger. She is a keen professional who ensured that my EEO rights were upheld in the most respectful manner. She truly paid attention to my case, and delivered compelling points in my defense. It was an unfortunate experience to go against the Federal Government, however, I am thankful for having Alan Lescht and Associates on my side. Thank you! so much Ms. Susan Kruger and her staff.

Alan Lescht & Associates is an incredibly professional, thorough, and effective team. They know how to dive into a case, research it, and plan a strategy on how to win. And most importantly, they know how to execute. Always responsive and thoughtful, Alan and his team are in a class of their own.

They get 1 star only because I had to in order to write my review. This is a very unprofessional company. They do not follow up with you after you’ve reached out to them concerning your case. I’ve tried calling and emailing the contact they gave me but she never replied.

Alan Lescht was referred to me to handle a consulting agreement. He responded immediately to my inquiry and gave me thoughtful and constructive feedback within hours - as well as got on the phone to walk me through the agreement. As a small business owner, I appreciate his professionalism, speed, and understanding of the issues I am managing. I have been reluctant to engage legal services on consulting agreements because of time and cost. Alan was reasonable and fair for a small business and I will now be turning to him more often to assist with legal issues. I highly recommend his services based on my experience.

Anyone who hasn’t rated this law firm highly didn’t have Matthew Estes as their main attorney. Not only did Attorney Lescht, himself, contact me immediately when I was wrongfully terminated, but both he and Matthew Estes saw me through 8 months of negotiations to resolve the issue in my favor. They communicated with me even when I was traveling internationally and made sure I was up to date on everything going on. I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and results from Alan Lescht and Associates. I now hold all other attorneys and law firms against the standard of this law firm. Thank you so much.

Alan Lescht is wonderful. My wife and I experienced a horrible experience Alan made better by applying the acumen and intelligence of Matt Estes to support my wife and I. Everyone in the office from the intake (Joyce) coordinator to the debits counselor were professional and thorough. This review is a positive as one is authorized to write. I have referred other professionals to Mr. Estes and the family I referred now sleep better at night. The world, as well as life, is not fair and equal but Alan Lescht, Matt Estes and Joyce will do their best to defend and promote the inequity in life more proportionately.

I had a work related issue that required a phenomenal attorney, and that was Alan, Lescht , his firm worked with me to resolve my work issue.

Rani who was a Shareholder in the firm, worked on my case and did a great job of keeping me in the loop of what was happening with my case, she kept me up to date on all hearings, issues and all information I needed to make an informed decision at every turn in my case. Joyce who is the office manager, was very helpful in answering many questions that I had when I called the firm.

It was great working with this team this is a law firm that knows how to get results in a timely manner. One of the many things I liked about working with this firm is that their response time was the best they responded late at night, weekends, early mornings, it didn't matter they kept me in the loop of what was happening in my case. All I can say is thanks for a job well done.

I hired Alan Lescht & Associates almost 2 years ago to help me find justice when I was terminated after disclosing my pregnancy. My case was dragged out for longer than any of expected but not once did this firm back down. They helped me until the very end, always keeping me posted with updates and the status of my case. After a long battle and a lot of going back and forth I was very happy with the results. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Alan Lescht brought tremendous experience which was reflected in providing me with effective guidance throughout the case. Alan’s management style sets an outstanding example for the firm with his professionalism and leadership. He sincerely cares about his clients and enhances the efforts for them to succeed.

Susan Kruger has great experience and confidently addressed the facts of the case during depositions, as well as, in preparing and submitting the briefs and documentation. She continuously updated me with new developments and developed a strategy on the merits of the case with the goal to achieve justice for me. When I reached out to Mr. Alan Lescht for advise, I was confused, uncertain, and pessimistic about my situation. I was in my job for long years and to my surprise I was unlawfully terminated. Mr. Lescht reinstalled my confidence with a few wise words and advised me to go and get another job and worry about this later! He was right, when I came back to his office a few months later I was extremely impressed with the level of service, zeal, and accuracy his office exhibited through out the process. My case was not an easy case and the opponents played tough but Mr. Lescht associates were caring, firm, honest, and comforted me throughout the process. If you are looking for a strong representation to work with you I strongly recommend Mr. Lescht's office.

I am very satisfied with the outstanding representation Attorney at Law, August Johannsen (August) of Alan Lescht & Associates Law Firm mounted on my behalf. Mr. Johannsen is a very humble man. He followed up on every question I had and ensured that we met every deadline in presenting documents to the defendants. From the beginning, after speaking with the secretary, Joyce, I felt comfortable in engaging Alan Lescht & Associates to fight my case. I am truly happy with the outcome of this case, and got even more than I originally requested from my defendants. Thank you very much, August for a job well done.

Victoria Harrison of Alan Lescht & Associates handled my case and I couldn't be more pleased with her promptness, tact, professionalism, and efficiency.

Due to geographic location, I was hesitant at first to use this law firm; I live in PA and this firm is located in DC. That said, Victoria and her team scheduled a phone call to do the kickoff meeting so that I didn't have to drive all the way to DC for a 30 minutes (or less) meeting. I emailed a few documents ahead of time and the ensuing phone call was brief. Key points were discussed using a very simple question and answer session. It was very reassuring as I could sense a preliminary strategy being formed to support my case from just the initial phone call. Following that phone call, I did as she instructed at each stage, providing all documentation and artifacts that I had. The rest is history.

I would highly recommend Victoria Harrison and this law firm. I am a very real, middle class person who had a real-world problem. In terms of cost, the quality of service was appropriate with the fees charged by this law firm. Not to say that it was cheap, because no lawyer is, but in terms of value - what I received for what I paid, I am very pleased with the outcome. Thanks again, Ms. Harrison!

In 2014, I passed through the hardest time in my life, I consider it the worst year in my life. I lost hope and faith in myself after dealing with a very intimidating, bullying, and a misogynist Boss ! I decided to sue the agency I used to work for but the process was long, and stressing to the extreme. There was only one part that lightened my 2014 and that was having "Alan Lescht & Associates" represent me for my case. It was the best decision I ever made. I met the first time with Mr. Lescht, he was very patient and calm, he made me feel that I am in safe hands really. He deserves to be called " The Super Attorney".Honestly, everyone at "Alan Lescht & Associates" is very kind and cheerful. Starting from the office manager, Joyce Dozier, she is such a wonderful lady. Sometimes, I used to call multiple times in 1 day but she was very patient and very understanding. I can't forget about my Amazing Attorney Victoria Harrsion , she was my attorney representing me for my case. She is the my "Hero" ! She was very patient and always updated me, explaining to me everything about the deadlines and the process of the case.

The case was settled before going to court last January, and that's because I had the best attorney in DC. I can't thank "Alan Lescht & Associates" enough really. Furthermore, Their retainer fees are very convenient, I do really recommend anyone that is struggling with their case to just go to "Alan Lescht & Associates"; YOU WILL BE IN SAFE HANDS.

I received severance soon thereafter. I would feel very confident having Alan in my corner in the future.

I am current client of Alan Lescht and Associates being represented by Mr. Alan Lescht himself. As a disabled veteran with over twenty-five (25) years of government service I found myself in a very complex and high profile employment crisis in which I was terminated from my government employment. Prior to retaining Alan Lescht and Associates, I unsuccessfully worked with a high profile law firm in Washington, DC and after racking up an enormous amount of attorney fees with this firm, they did not achieve my desired results. Thus, I found myself in a tough spot desperately needing an honest attorney who cared as much about me, my case and my family as they did about the money.

During my initial consult with Alan, he expressed great concern of my situation and vowed to aggressively represent me and attain the results I desired. Alan and his team thoroughly reviewed my case and put together an extremely strong defense. Knowing that things were financially tight for me and my family during this time, Alan did everything in his power to keep down the costs.

The amount of professionalism and hard work that was invested in my case shows that Alan Lescht is more than just a super attorney. He is a very caring person who genuinely cares for the well-being of his clients other than just-for-profit. Throughout the process, Alan and his team kept me informed and abreast of all developments, reassuring me that we had a very strong case, which helped me to withstand during these tough and challenging times.

Although when you first meet Alan he appears to have a very calm demeanor, I was extremely impressed by his performance during a mediation session where he commanded the room by not backing down or settling for less than my desired outcome. I was truly in awe of his talent, natural skills and unwavering position. My case is in the final stage of settlement and my family and I are very grateful to Alan Lescht and Associates as they carried and guided me through the most difficult challenge of my career, which not only affected me but my family.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my case and I strongly recommend Alan Lescht and Associates to anyone who are experiencing employment difficulties that are looking for a strong, dependable and trustworthy attorney. Lastly…it is truly evident why Alan Lescht has earned the prestigious title of “Super Attorney.” He really is an amazing attorney!!

This law firm does not provide clients a copy of their files upon request, you will have to write the DC or MD Bar Association to obtain info on an ethics complaint, or the state attorney general to have things looked into. It’s best to keep things documented and write the bar associations, this law firm, and or the attorney general as necessary. They may be good lawyers but to an extent they are morose after $$$ than firms that offer similar services and seem to have an issue respecting that files belong to the client and not them.

When my mom had a case where she was wrongfully terminated by the Dept. of Behavioral Health, Wash DC, we went straight to Alan and his team. They were comforting, reassuring, reliable and professional. They took on our case and took the fight to the DBH. And two years later after finally having our day in court, we prevailed. My experience with Mr. Lescht and his team was awful. They were not interested in my situation and paid absolutely no attention to details. I was the victim of brutal harrassment and abuse at my place of employment and finally fired because I had cancer. My employer was absolutely off-the-rails in their conduct and my case should have been a slam-dunk. When I met with Alan Lescht I had a bad feeling and frankly I wish I had listened to my gut. I was talked into paying an initial fee to arbitrate with an EEOC facilitator. That arbitration was, what can only be described as surreal. Alan sent a flunky lawyer who was completely un-prepared, uninterested and disrespectful to me. She spent her time checking emails and talking to her assistant about another case. When it was her turn to speak, she started by saying, "... well, I don't know that much about this case ..." rolled her eyes and gave a knowing nod to the EEOC facilitator, as if to say she was representing yet another pesky client. My former employer, on the other hand, was lawyered-up with six or seven people on the other side of the table.

I've had time to reflect on all this and I firmly believe Alan Lescht has a standard operating procedure that has nothing to do with helping clients or settling discrimination issues. His modus operendi is to:
1) Assume his clients are stupid.
2) Suggest arbitration to everyone.
3) Lose all arbitration - leaving his clients with no option but to litigate.
4) Charge a hefty hourly fee and demand a 40-50% settlement fee.
5) Pay no attention to the case and continue charging legal fees.
6) If a client expresses frustration, do something, but not much.
7. Suggest a settlement with terms that are written by the defendant.

I don't normally write reviews, and I imagine Mr. Lescht has had many annoying clients who claim discrimination when there was none - so I can understand how he may be jaded and burned out, That said, he is in the business of dealing with people who have often been on the receiving end of hostile, abusive behavior from their employers. These people, I would imagine, are usually stressed-out and feeling very vulnerable. If he cannot honorably represent this kind of client I think he should not be practicing this kind of law.

I don't know if the positive reviews here are legitimate or not. I hope, for everyones' sake they are. Perhaps things have changed over the last two years, but given my personal experience I cannot endorse this law firm,

I enlisted the legal services of Alan Lescht & Associates, P.C. to represent me in an EEOC reprisal lawsuit that included various discrimination practices from the federal government: the Department of the United States Navy, specifically the Naval Sea Logistics Center, Mechanicsburg, PA.

Living in Pennsylvania, I initially chose a local attorney who claimed to win cases like mine; however, he turned out to be unprofessional and have little experience with litigation against the federal government or the various stages and processes of EEOC procedures involving federal employees. I knew that I had to find a highly skilled attorney to handle my case going forward, or I would lose everything I had worked for in the past 31 plus years. By the time that I found Alan, I had wasted a lot of time, money and endured much aggravation and bullying, to the point that the Navy had tried to fire me.

Alan Lescht was highly recommended to me from a friend, who was also a former client of Mr. Lescht and also another attorney that I knew endorsed him as well.

Upon meeting with Mr. Lescht and his associate, Ms. Christina Quashie, I knew I finally chose the right firm to resolve my complaint and get me the resolution that I greatly needed and deserved. Alan and Christina immediately provided the expertise, professionalism, knowledge and drive that my previous attorney severely lacked. Even though I lived in Pennsylvania and they were located in Washington, DC, they made themselves available and the distance was not an issue.

From initiation to settlement, my case took approximately 2.5 years and was both physically and mentally devastating to me. In addition to their excellent legal and professional services, Alan, Christina and Joyce, the office manager, were respectful, caring, kind and provided emotional and moral support when I needed it. Their advice and skills brought much needed resolution of my case as well as closure to this most stressful period in my life. His record and reputation precede him. I would highly recommend Alan’s firm to anyone in need of legal counsel regarding federal employment. He truly earned the award titles and is “One of D.C.’s Super Lawyers.”

Short Review: I am so grateful to Alan, Christina and Joyce for all of their hard work utilizing their legal skills to win my retaliation/discrimination case and allow me to fully enjoy my life again. Without them I would have lost my job, most of my retirement, my home and all that I have worked for in the last 31 years of government service for the Navy. Thank you for winning my case!

Thank you again for your help with my claim. I am very happy with the settlement I received and found you both very pleasant and professional to work with. I admire that you put up with my impatience. And I appreciate the patience you showed me during the long process. The first day I met you Alan, I knew I could expect good things from your firm when you told me "Run, don't walk, back to your office and e-mail your EEO officer this exact message". I told myself "He's been around the block a few times". :) Anyway, thank you again for everything you did.

Mr. Lescht is an A+++ employment attorney. He provided sound legal advice to assist me with a complex separation agreement. He edited the agreement during our one hour consultation and my employer accepted 99% of the changes. Alan gave me the information I needed to save my federal career.

I was selected for a promotion requiring a drug test. I tested positive for a drug my doctor authorized in conjunction with a cancer diagnosis. A Medical Review Officer in my agency questioned the validity of my doctor's authorization, and even the medical basis for the medication I used. I turned to Alan for help.

Alan quickly gathered the relevant details during a consultation. He gave me advice I needed to marshal the support of my supervisors and medical team. He told me how to work with the MRO to get a verified negative test result.

Most importantly, he didn't charge me for unnecessary services. The consult was all I needed. He told me, "if you had a real problem, I would tell you. Return if the MRO verifies the test positive. There is more we can do."

Alan was right. After a great deal of effort the MRO verified the test negative. I got my well earned promotion.

Alan gave me peace of mind and a plan to achieve a just result. He offered only the services I needed to be successful. I doubt I will need his services again, but if I ever did, Alan would be the first person I'd call.

Alan is an outstanding lawyer. My family and I owe him a debt of gratitude.

I have read the review and was impressed with the services of this organization . However, the attorney who I worked with totally turned my impressions to negative direction. She was impatience, gave wrong info, and did not care about justice ( but care about the money from the case she might get and her time only. As a customer, I have to wait for her half an hour and refused to help for the case , eventhough I was told to come by another attorney. ) Knowing that one person might not represent for the whole company but I want to share my experience with others who consider to use the service for their money, trust and valuable time.

Attorney Corrie Ferrini of Alan Lescht & Associates, P.C. is a fierce advocate for whistleblowers and a protector of federal employees. She has shown me great support and advocated on my behalf all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States (Dept. of Homeland Security v. MacLean — 135 U.S. 913 (2015)), where I ultimately prevailed in my case against the TSA. Corrie has never shied away from the challenges presented by the complexities of my case, has always believed in my position and is responsive to my questions. I enthusiastically recommend her to any federal employee involved in a whistleblower retaliation case.

Alan Lestch and Associates received $3500 retainer to represent my case in front of an Administrative Judge for an EEOC case.

They had no interest in my case. Charged me $399 an hour for questions like "How do you plan to address my case". I never received an answer to questions.

They sent one statement to my house but continued to charge me over the next 6 months without sending 4 additional statements. They spent over $3000 of my retainer fee. I left there with a little over $400 and absolutely nothing to help my case.

This law firm does not represent EEOC cases especially if you are still working with a decent salary. They acted like I should be happy to work while being discriminated against. Stay away from this law firm. They are part of the problem, not the solution.

Alan Lescht is an excellent attorney. He is not only reasonable in cost, but personable, and knows the law for employees within the Federal Government, and those with disabilities! At the time of my case, I was in Iowa, and Alan was in DC. To this day, I have never met Alan in person, but I knew I could trust him, after talking with him on the phone.

Alan saved me from getting fired from my Federal job. He not only saved my career, but saved me from going bankrupt, losing my house, etc. I am still employed within the Federal Government, and know where to turn to if necessary! Thank you Alan!

Alan Lescht has been my attorney for almost two years in a very challenging and frustrating situation with a federal agency and the MSPB. Alan and his associates have always been extremely professional and patient with me, they have gone well beyond the standard and have carefully advised and represented me. Alan's ability to manage a case in front of an MSPB judge in my view was nothing less than exceptional. He is calm, concise and focused on the key issues of the case that in the end will be the important factors that the decision will rest on. I could not have asked for better representation. Given the choice I would not hesitate to use Alan in the future as well as recommend him to anyone needing federal employment representation.

Thank you Alan! - Jim
