Ms. Williamson initially represented me in a removal case. Although I was stressed, her confidence let me know that we were going to win. After the first success, I knew it was in my best interest to retain her for my EEO case. I’m a disabled veteran who suffers from PTSD. Ms. Williamson understood this and was always very supportive and encouraging. Not once did I feel as if she didn’t care about me as a client.
The EEO case lasted quite a while. However, Ms. Williamson always kept in touch and we would keep one another informed of any new details or developments. During the settlement phase of the case, Ms. Williamson once again showed up with that confidence and determination she so elegantly displays. She went above and beyond the call of duty over the last two years. I always tell her she is an angel on earth. I’m forever grateful to her. Her knowledge and expertise are superb. She is highly recommended.
Rani who was a Shareholder in the firm, worked on my case and did a great job of keeping me in the loop of what was happening with my case, she kept me up to date on all hearings, issues and all information I needed to make an informed decision at every turn in my case. Joyce who is the office manager, was very helpful in answering many questions that I had when I called the firm.
It was great working with this team this is a law firm that knows how to get results in a timely manner. One of the many things I liked about working with this firm is that their response time was the best they responded late at night, weekends, early mornings, it didn't matter they kept me in the loop of what was happening in my case. All I can say is thanks for a job well done.
Alan Lescht brought tremendous experience which was reflected in providing me with effective guidance throughout the case. Alan’s management style sets an outstanding example for the firm with his professionalism and leadership. He sincerely cares about his clients and enhances the efforts for them to succeed.
Susan Kruger has great experience and confidently addressed the facts of the case during depositions, as well as, in preparing and submitting the briefs and documentation. She continuously updated me with new developments and developed a strategy on the merits of the case with the goal to achieve justice for me. Susan was a major factor in achieving a successful outcome of the case.
Sincerely,
Dr. Tawhid Alsaffy
Due to geographic location, I was hesitant at first to use this law firm; I live in PA and this firm is located in DC. That said, Victoria and her team scheduled a phone call to do the kickoff meeting so that I didn't have to drive all the way to DC for a 30 minutes (or less) meeting. I emailed a few documents ahead of time and the ensuing phone call was brief. Key points were discussed using a very simple question and answer session. It was very reassuring as I could sense a preliminary strategy being formed to support my case from just the initial phone call. Following that phone call, I did as she instructed at each stage, providing all documentation and artifacts that I had. The rest is history.
I would highly recommend Victoria Harrison and this law firm. I am a very real, middle class person who had a real-world problem. In terms of cost, the quality of service was appropriate with the fees charged by this law firm. Not to say that it was cheap, because no lawyer is, but in terms of value - what I received for what I paid, I am very pleased with the outcome. Thanks again, Ms. Harrison!
The case was settled before going to court last January, and that's because I had the best attorney in DC. I can't thank "Alan Lescht & Associates" enough really. Furthermore, Their retainer fees are very convenient, I do really recommend anyone that is struggling with their case to just go to "Alan Lescht & Associates"; YOU WILL BE IN SAFE HANDS.
During my initial consult with Alan, he expressed great concern of my situation and vowed to aggressively represent me and attain the results I desired. Alan and his team thoroughly reviewed my case and put together an extremely strong defense. Knowing that things were financially tight for me and my family during this time, Alan did everything in his power to keep down the costs.
The amount of professionalism and hard work that was invested in my case shows that Alan Lescht is more than just a super attorney. He is a very caring person who genuinely cares for the well-being of his clients other than just-for-profit. Throughout the process, Alan and his team kept me informed and abreast of all developments, reassuring me that we had a very strong case, which helped me to withstand during these tough and challenging times.
Although when you first meet Alan he appears to have a very calm demeanor, I was extremely impressed by his performance during a mediation session where he commanded the room by not backing down or settling for less than my desired outcome. I was truly in awe of his talent, natural skills and unwavering position. My case is in the final stage of settlement and my family and I are very grateful to Alan Lescht and Associates as they carried and guided me through the most difficult challenge of my career, which not only affected me but my family.
I am very pleased with the outcome of my case and I strongly recommend Alan Lescht and Associates to anyone who are experiencing employment difficulties that are looking for a strong, dependable and trustworthy attorney. Lastly…it is truly evident why Alan Lescht has earned the prestigious title of “Super Attorney.” He really is an amazing attorney!!
I've had time to reflect on all this and I firmly believe Alan Lescht has a standard operating procedure that has nothing to do with helping clients or settling discrimination issues. His modus operendi is to:
1) Assume his clients are stupid.
2) Suggest arbitration to everyone.
3) Lose all arbitration - leaving his clients with no option but to litigate.
4) Charge a hefty hourly fee and demand a 40-50% settlement fee.
5) Pay no attention to the case and continue charging legal fees.
6) If a client expresses frustration, do something, but not much.
7. Suggest a settlement with terms that are written by the defendant.
I don't normally write reviews, and I imagine Mr. Lescht has had many annoying clients who claim discrimination when there was none - so I can understand how he may be jaded and burned out, That said, he is in the business of dealing with people who have often been on the receiving end of hostile, abusive behavior from their employers. These people, I would imagine, are usually stressed-out and feeling very vulnerable. If he cannot honorably represent this kind of client I think he should not be practicing this kind of law.
I don't know if the positive reviews here are legitimate or not. I hope, for everyones' sake they are. Perhaps things have changed over the last two years, but given my personal experience I cannot endorse this law firm,
Living in Pennsylvania, I initially chose a local attorney who claimed to win cases like mine; however, he turned out to be unprofessional and have little experience with litigation against the federal government or the various stages and processes of EEOC procedures involving federal employees. I knew that I had to find a highly skilled attorney to handle my case going forward, or I would lose everything I had worked for in the past 31 plus years. By the time that I found Alan, I had wasted a lot of time, money and endured much aggravation and bullying, to the point that the Navy had tried to fire me.
Alan Lescht was highly recommended to me from a friend, who was also a former client of Mr. Lescht and also another attorney that I knew endorsed him as well.
Upon meeting with Mr. Lescht and his associate, Ms. Christina Quashie, I knew I finally chose the right firm to resolve my complaint and get me the resolution that I greatly needed and deserved. Alan and Christina immediately provided the expertise, professionalism, knowledge and drive that my previous attorney severely lacked. Even though I lived in Pennsylvania and they were located in Washington, DC, they made themselves available and the distance was not an issue.
From initiation to settlement, my case took approximately 2.5 years and was both physically and mentally devastating to me. In addition to their excellent legal and professional services, Alan, Christina and Joyce, the office manager, were respectful, caring, kind and provided emotional and moral support when I needed it. Their advice and skills brought much needed resolution of my case as well as closure to this most stressful period in my life. His record and reputation precede him. I would highly recommend Alan’s firm to anyone in need of legal counsel regarding federal employment. He truly earned the award titles and is “One of D.C.’s Super Lawyers.”

Short Review: I am so grateful to Alan, Christina and Joyce for all of their hard work utilizing their legal skills to win my retaliation/discrimination case and allow me to fully enjoy my life again. Without them I would have lost my job, most of my retirement, my home and all that I have worked for in the last 31 years of government service for the Navy. Thank you for winning my case!

Thank you again for your help with my claim. I am very happy with the settlement I received and found you both very pleasant and professional to work with. I admire that you put up with my impatience. And I appreciate the patience you showed me during the long process. The first day I met you Alan, I knew I could expect good things from your firm when you told me "Run, don't walk, back to your office and e-mail your EEO officer this exact message". I told myself "He's been around the block a few times". :) Anyway, thank you again for everything you did.
Sincerely,
B.A.Schwab

I have recommended him to several colleagues in the area, and would recommend him to anyone seeking assistance with business law.
I was selected for a promotion requiring a drug test. I tested positive for a drug my doctor authorized in conjunction with a cancer diagnosis. A Medical Review Officer in my agency questioned the validity of my doctor's authorization, and even the medical basis for the medication I used. I turned to Alan for help.
Alan quickly gathered the relevant details during a consultation. He gave me advice I needed to marshal the support of my supervisors and medical team. He told me how to work with the MRO to get a verified negative test result.
Most importantly, he didn't charge me for unnecessary services. The consult was all I needed. He told me, "if you had a real problem, I would tell you. Return if the MRO verifies the test positive. There is more we can do."
Alan was right. After a great deal of effort the MRO verified the test negative. I got my well earned promotion.
Alan gave me peace of mind and a plan to achieve a just result. He offered only the services I needed to be successful. I doubt I will need his services again, but if I ever did, Alan would be the first person I'd call.
Alan is an outstanding lawyer. My family and I owe him a debt of gratitude.
They had no interest in my case. Charged me $399 an hour for questions like "How do you plan to address my case". I never received an answer to questions.
They sent one statement to my house but continued to charge me over the next 6 months without sending 4 additional statements. They spent over $3000 of my retainer fee. I left there with a little over $400 and absolutely nothing to help my case.
This law firm does not represent EEOC cases especially if you are still working with a decent salary. They acted like I should be happy to work while being discriminated against. Stay away from this law firm. They are part of the problem, not the solution.
Alan saved me from getting fired from my Federal job. He not only saved my career, but saved me from going bankrupt, losing my house, etc. I am still employed within the Federal Government, and know where to turn to if necessary! Thank you Alan!
Thank you Alan! - Jim
