These people will take advantage of you when you need help. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. I wish I could give them negative stars.

They only care about how much they can milk you for and not about treating you as a valued client. I had one consultation, hired them, and now I am out $750. The consultation was supposed to be $100. The intention was to draft a letter to send to the ex and all I have is a bill for $650 which represents two attorneys writing and reviewing a letter, that I could have written myself!!!!!!!!!! They have charged my credit card and I still don't have this golden letter. Oh, there was a 10 minute call included. I have never felt so ripped off in my entire life. The firm knew of our financial struggles upfront and this is the representation we received. Do not, do not use this firm.

I am pleased with my attorney by far he did a great job getting me to my result . I paid 1800 retainer to start my case , which is returned to you upon completion of your case . Well during this case every email I sent or received I was charged , they charged for every little thing . I am ok with that I suppose , however when my retainer was returned to me it was only 1500 because they charged me close to 300 dollars to close my case . Absolutely ridiculous! Go to another firm !!!!

They laid down to opposing counsel, never fought for me, ended up with me paying my ex wife taxes after she got 80%, a firm that employs rookie attorneys with no supervision, do not retain, just found out they agreed to withhold 40% of my minuscule pension returned to my ex, spousal death annuity, if she doesn't predese me, I don't get diddly squdlly, this firm is a joke, you could get the guy on the corner to get you a better deal

They get the information needed to make your divorce right for you and your family. My attorney always asks for my feedback and understands my concerns.
However, for an uncontested divorce your soon-to-be ex-wife must agree to the Separation Agreement (Paperwork). All of the terms of the divorce are on this for the courts judge. If your ex wants any changes this does cost you... affects your billing. If you reach a point where it feels like it won't be an uncontested divorce you can stop the process. You may release your attorney. You still have all of the work that was done and then down the road again somewhere you can start it again - with the same firm or an different one. So i'm leaving it there but gained a lot of knowledge.

Caused my buddy a lot of issues due to lack of communication.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. They are awful. I contacted them to help with a child support and visitation issue I had. All they needed to do was work with the court appointed mediator and the first lawyer I got never once called me back ... so I fired him and the second one I got never reached out to the mediator for 3 months ... each time I asked him what he was doing he billed me but never actually did what I was asking him to do. And he admitted it saying that he had some ethical issue he had to get guidance on. Rubbish, he was just billing hours on a case that was simple. Finally, when my court date was approaching he did what I had been asking and reached out to the mediator and we got it all sorted in days. They string you along, billing all the time, and then leave you with a huge bill that you never needed to run up. They are just awful. Get a small, one or two person shop to help you and you will be far better off. Never again. I am only giving them ONE STAR because I can't post without giving them something. They get negative stars as far as I am concerned. And it is not just the VA offices ... I met with some lawyer form CO and she was just as bad. They only want your hours. Go elsewhere.

Avoid getting married or get a prenuptial. Divorce it's too expensive.

They don’t even deserve one star, they deserve negative. They gave the intention of being affordable but charged me an astronomical amount of money that now I’m struggling to pay.

I fired Cordell and Cordell after their first billing and hired a new lawyer who has done so much good for me for a quarter of the cost Cordell and Cordell did.

Beware of this law firm. They’ll rip you off and their attorneys are mediocre.
