Sris was amazing in helping me get my second reckless driving ticket reduced to regular speeding, allowing my insurance rate not to get raise extremely high. Before I went before the Judge Sris called me into the hall after smooth talking the prosecutor and told me it would only be fined for a regular speeding ticket rather than a second charge for reckless driving and possible license suspension. His office was fantastic at getting me all the information I would need to have a solid case. After leaving the court room Sris stayed and talked with me in line until I paid for my ticket giving me advice and asking what I planned on doing in the future. He went above and beyond for my case and I will be referring him Sris to everyone I know.

In August, I found myself speed trapped on a highway in VA. This road (highway) had a speed limit of 55pmh and dropped to 35 mph for the last mile. I was on Lee highway and assumed the speed limit was 65mph or 70mph (as posted often in VA and it being a HIGHWAY and all) but I was wrong. When I initially got pulled over, I thought it was for not signaling in a left only turn lane. I didn’t think I was at all speeding. Turns out I was, and the ticket would be for reckless driving which in Virginia is a Class I misdemeanor.
The fines and severity of reckless driving in the state of Virginia are $2500 max fine, 6 months loss of license and up to 1 year in jail. (Yes, up to 1 year in jail). I am from NJ, we have reckless too and it is a moving violation that has consequences, but jail is not one of them. When I found this out I was very nervous and very frustrated. I could tell my instance or situation was severe because the officer, however polite or moderately polite, was very angry at my speed.
Regardless of my situation or story, I was clocked doing 74 in a 35. That time of moving violation comes with a heavy price. I called a few attorney's and the one I had the nicest, fairest, most down to earth conversation with, was Sris. He was upfront, didn't sugar coat, worked right away with me, pricing was beyond fair and he provided me with all the pros, cons and possibilities without making any promises. I appreciated that.
First time going to court (he represented me, while I stayed in NJ). The prosecutor wanted jail time and wasn't budging, so we decided to go to trial. Fast forward to today, my trial, I finally meet Sris and the news initially was not so good (out of his hands). Prosecutor and officer want 10 days in county jail for speeding. After hearing this, I am nervous because my wife and newborn are at home and I didn't plan at all for this. (possibly an overnight as to make amends with county for speeding and paying a small price for the possibility of a much heavier charge if they wanted to impose such on me).
My insight or advice would be to listen and do what Sris and his firm ask. By provided Sris and his firm with all they requested of me prior to my trial, accompanied with his full understanding of my case, coupled with the way he presented it to the judge, I was able to drive home to my wife, tonight.
I broke the law and everyone's circumstances are different. I can't guarantee someone with my similar situation would have a similar outcome. What I can tell you is that Sris provided me a service, honestly and in the end, he won the case for me. Reckless Driving is a serious offense in general, but more so in VA. Mr. Sris and everyone who works at his office are great. They are very punctual and communicate very effectively. The let you know specifically everything they need from you. On the route I drove into Virginia there was no warning that going over 80mph (just 10mph over the speed limit) was considered reckless but that is what I was charged with. There is the potential to go to prison and get a criminal record and six points. Mr Sris calmly and professionally talked me through the process. By following his advice (including some refresher training which wasn't a bad thing !) I ended up with exactly the same penalty as if I'd been speeding on the NJ Turnpike . I was never completely satisfied with the outcome of my case...I would say that I was just glad it was over because nothing more was going to be done! From the start I wanted Sris to represent me because the referral I had been given was for him, however over time the case was passed on to another attorney in the office. The attorney representing my ex would not supply my attorney with requested income documents as we headed to court. I expressed concern all along about the case via emails. The case was rushed and we appeared in court with my ex-husband's attorney presenting an income lower than what he had made 6 to 8 years prior; the court went with that! I left with less child support for 2 children. I paid well over 10K to this office. Now I have asked for verification of the income that my ex was allowed to use in court and have been told by Sris that all my documents have been lost due to a computer virus! If you are driving thru Rappahannock, be super careful. They hand out reckless driving tickets like it is candy. I drove out there to visit a friend and I got charged with a reckless driving ticket. It was for a 84/55. I called a bunch of lawyers and read the reviews and I picked Sris to help me out. He did a great job. He got it knocked down to a no point offense and I had to only pay a fine. About 6 years ago I was in an unfortunate situation at a night club involving an off-duty police officer and my life took a turn for the worse. Taking advantage of his power, I was falsely accused of malicious wounding. I went to Mr. SRIS scared of what was going to happen if I was convicted of this crime being I have a family to support and I would lose my job. Mr. SRIS listened to my case with empathy and re-assured me that it was going to be ok; and that it was. I didn't even have to wait for my court date for Mr. SRIS to have my matter resolved, he called me weeks in advance giving me the good news they were dropping the charges. More recently I found myself in a jam from a mistake that I made and was charged with 2 misdemeanors and a felony. I've been through a couple of bad experiences where I needed an attorney and I can totally testify that I couldn't have got any better result than the one Mr. Sris got me. I met him when I had a traffic matter and he took it out from my record, it continues clean and perfect. Later I had to hire his services for a child support matter, I was paying a very high amount of child support for my only child, (more than $1000). I knew I had to ask him to help me and he did it, It was really easy to trust him. Mr. Sris was recommended to us though a past client of his. Right at the initial interview with him, my husband and I felt at ease and agreed that he was a great choose to represent us.
