An accident is a very scary situation, and even more when your trying to find a lawyer to keep your best of interest at hand and not just there’s. At greenberg and Bederman I had two of the best thank you Cory Turmelle and Victoria Eatherton, they both went over and beyond for me. I aggravated them a lot but only because when my accident happened I was taken off from work for months, I lost a lot and I was afraid each month after being behind so long that we were going to be homeless with my 5 kids, they were without Christmas and all because we had no money. But with praying and staying positive the office is trying to process my settlement but either way there the best. Update; 02/19/2020 this company is still striving to help assist me after finding that there’s some discrepancy. I reached out to them to find out Information that there still may be money owed to me and to my reinsurance they had already been working on it two days prior to me contacting them. I have referenced 2 people to this law firm since my accident In 2017

Initially, I didn’t know what to expect when I decided to hire Greenberg and Bederman for a vehicle accident case in D.C. As with most cases it takes time but to reach a settlement but I will say they kept me updated along the way - I even received updates from the boss ATTY Andy Berderman, he’s a straight shooter he’s going to give it to you straight with no chaser. At the end everyone got their take even the insurance company because the laws in D.C. and MD allow for them to put a lien against your judgement and they take their cut like the unscrupulous industry that they are Anyways, I would recommend this firm.

I want to start off by saying I rarely do a bad review. But I always do an honest review. I would not recommend this Law Firm for a car accident in DC. My experience with this firm is horrible at best. All the stain touch stuff that is advertised always speaking to an attorney, there's truth in there but it is a very stretched truth. The first lawyer I had handled my case for three months before he was fired. I had to get all but one of my medical bills due to the incompetence of this firm. My case was quoted for 10,000. When it was said and done I walked away with less money than my lost wages for only one week of work. Car accident is bad enough to go through... it's even worse when you work with lawyers who do not care and a company who cares more about dollar signs then customer satisfaction. I will save you The Dramatics. MY POINT BEING GO TO BIG AL OR ANY OTHER FIRM BECAUSE ALL THAT IS ADVERTISED BY GREENBURG AND BEDERMAN IS A JOKE. I did not receive a monthly update phone call as promised. I was not able to always speak with an attorney. And more than once I was told one thing by one attorney and the information proved false. My wife was even going to get this firm but after she saw what I had to go through dealing with this firm, we want to Big Al where we got much better treatment and also financially did much better.
I hate being negative oh, but this is just the truth. I tried to write good reviews versus bad ones and it really takes a lot to get to this point. Please be wise in your attorney choice because it's your life in their hands. We all know how hard car accidents are to deal with!

Pretty much blew me off. Weren't rude but guess they were looking for loss of life or limb to accept a case. Got the impression they are not interested in litigation want open and shut injury claims.

My accident was December 18, 2018. I am still in the settlement stage with no valid update. The attitude of the lawyer Tia was enough for me to want to approach her personally. I guarantee they are the ones writing their own reviews. They are very unprofessional and do not follow through with anything unless you reach out first. They do not keep you updated, and they drag you along until you have no other choice but to call them out. I will not recommend them to anyone at this time.

My review is specifically related to the negotiations that Greenberg and Bederman’s attorney Ashton conducted on my behalf. I was physically hurt and in terrible pain after my car accidents in 2017 as well as frustrated and upset that my car (and only method of transportation) was totaled due to another driver. After months of therapy and frustrations, I was able to get parts of my life back in order. During the negotiations, the insurance companies tried to downplay everything related to my treatment and didn’t want to make any payments. What frustrated me even more was that everyone involved was poised to walk away with some type of compensation from those accidents except me! I would be left with the expense of the medical bills. I voiced my concerns regarding the insurance company’s offer and that I was not going to settle, so Ashton went back to the negotiations table for me. She was able to get my medical balances reduced. The amount they offered would now pay off those balances. She also reduced some of my attorney fees so that in the end I would get some kind of compensation for my pain and suffering. It took a long time but I am grateful for her determination to “correct the wrong” and help where she could. Much appreciated!

I had a small accident and I called the firm to handle it for me. This was my first accident and I had no clue how to proceed. The lawyer advised me to handle it on my own since I wasn’t really hurt. They said that they didn’t want to make me have legal fees if they weren’t needed for my accident. Then, they went the extra mile and gave me some advice on HOW to handle it on my own. I called when I got hurt at an amusement park. The firm advised me that they would not take my case, however, what left a lasting thought is that they did not just dismiss me because they couldn’t take the case. They stayed on the phone and advised me of the situation, and the law surrounding it, and how that applied to my situation. I felt like I was well informed after the conversation and understood better.
