This law firm made the process to begin and complete my divorce seem quite effortless. Ms. Dino is no nonsence and she excels at quickly being able to focus on the important and pertinent aspects of your case. After the initial separation agreement form was filled out and those details ironed out, this firm largely handled the rest of the process without me having to do almost anything. They kept me well informed along the way and I had full trust in them. The paralegal, Ms. Evans was also exceptional to work with. Their pricing is excellent, considering what you get for your money. Honest, organized, caring, advocate, dedicated, and trustworthy. These are just a few of the words I would use to describe Ariel Baniowski. I hired her and the firm of Livsey and Myers to defend me against a ”rule to show cause” and what turned out to be a move for full custody of my children .

My divorce was finalized in 2014 and I had been living with a 50/50 custody arrangement. The ex remarried and decided to try and overturn the original mediation agreement. They alleged breaches of the agreement and used that to justify a change in custody. This initiated a year long battle of litigation and utter chaos.

Ariel was a rock for me and my family. When I was emotional and wanted to lash out, she would be the first to question if my decision and steady my hand. She was really great at taking me from the emotional roller coaster to a rational zone. Dhe would be direct with my possibilities when the path (or upcoming rulings) was uncertain -that was my favorite part about her style.

The biggest thing I learned is that there is no certainty in this process. Even with an iron clad meditation agreement, everything can be litigated. Having a lawyer that reminds you of that, and shows you what we are doing to prove our point was more helpful to me than one that told me we were gonna win. There will be many wins and losses until the final verdict is in, and it's important to stay focused - and that is what Ariel did. This is a late review but I felt this still needed to be shared. I'm a single father and was dealing with a situation in which I was greatly concerned for the well being of my child and desperately needed some help. I retained Laila Raheen and after our first consultation, there was no need to look any further. Laila was extremely professional and very knowledgeable with case law and court proceedings. I have worked the last year and a half with Ariel Baniowski and Isabella Baldanza. My case was not your average divorce. I have an autistic child and my former spouse tried to use the system against me to suspend my parental rights and have our son placed in a 24 hr mental health facility. Ariel and Isabella were caring, professional, and worked tirelessly on my case.

There were extremely difficult moments throughout this case for both me and the children. There were numerous "professional" therapists and government people involved in this case and most did not have my sons best interest in mind. The system was working against my children. It was supposed to protect them but it was protecting my ex-wife.

I recently used Ms. Collins for my uncontested divorce case and was beyond thrilled with her service. We've never worked with a lawyer before. Sent in the contact form with the information, was told to call the office to schedule an appointment. Okay, I can do that. Called to get a consultation scheduled and a list of items that we needed to bring to the consultation. $150.00 consultation fee, okay, fine. Since I'd be paying that amount, I wanted to be prepared to talk about what needs to be talked about, not given a list of things to bring at the NEXT consultation for another hunk of money...
Receptionist was rude and had an attitude when she found out I wasn't the person actually in the case; just trying to schedule and get info on what to bring for the person. I wasn't asking any personal information, if I was, I would have understood resistance...I'm not stupid to confidentiality agreements, etc... I just needed a general list of things/facts to bring and a date/time to get the defendant to schedule off work so they could consult with him. She told me to have him call and hung up on me.
We will find someone else.

They offer a fair flat fee for a noncontested divorce which is a very nice option!! Actually, the whole process was less stressful than I imagined! I did however almost removed a star because I feel as though each time I asked for a timetable I was given the same answer no matter how much time had already passed! Which at the end of it all almost gave me a heart attack!! I think a print out with a timetable for each step might be a great way to avoid any confusion or miscommunication. What more could ask for in a law firm? I would rate this firm 5+ in terms of stars and as the wife of an attorney, I am probably a pretty tough customer.

Livesay & Myers, P.C have a great firm. Ariel Baniowski and Tatyana Spurgeon handled my Divorce amazingly and with a lot of professionalism. Looking for a lawyer to represent me in my divorce, I found one close to the courthouse. Started with Spencer Baumgartner and after a year with Spencer, who really tried very hard to move the divorce along, I was transferred to Ms. Carolyn Eaton when Spencer moved to another firm out of state.
