The girls in Mr. Hunter's are amazing. Letitia went above and beyond what she had to do to make a stressful situation in my family a little easier. I will forever be grateful for her.

Mr. Hunter and his staff was extremely helpful and professional. They were attentive and worked quickly on a time sensitive matter. Mr. Hunter is honest and extremely helpful to his clients. His legal knowledge is vast and he never quits on his clients. Some lawyers do what is best for themselves but Mr. Hunter always does what is best for his clients. I wish junior lawyers would do an internship under Mr. Hunter to learn what it is like to have great knowledge and integrity. He would make an excellent law professor but then his clients would suffer without his help!

We tried to use Mr Hunter for mediation services. It was clear that he was one sided in the situation. He also spent most of our alotted time to discuss his work on other's cases. He said if we did not use him, he would refund $100 to each of us of what we had prepaid. We did not use him & when I called to get the refund, his accounting person told me that we each owed him an additional $333, but he would dismiss it. We only saw him one time for one hour. I definitely would not recommend him for mediation services. I would give him lower than one star if it was an option. In response to his response below... I did just fine by using an attorney rather than a mediator. It shows his mindset that because I asked for what was mine to be returned to me that I must've not done well. It is an "entitled" mindset- they don't need that money, so it should be mine. Although $100 is a small amount in his mind, it is not to a lot of people. We did not use 3 and 1/2 hrs of mediation time. I did not even spend 3 & 1/2 hrs at any given time with the lawyer that I did hire. And as previously stated, the time he spent with us was mostly used to discuss other's cases. I find it not professional to do so as I would not want my case being discussed with others. After reading my review, he did leave a message to call him, but I did not see a reason why because I was already told that I would not receive the money back. There was nothing else to discuss. If you want a lawyer with the mentality that your money is HIS money, this is the person for you to hire. Read it below in his own words. And I also took a screenshot of it just in case he decides to remove what he wrote. There are plenty more places to leave reviews of him, so I should get started.... And as far as me feeling that he was one sided in this situation.... He made comments such as pointing to me and stating that if I would say that I don't want anything in the divorce, then it would all go to Mr. Lake. It's a male's mindset that the woman takes everything in the divorce and we don't deserve it. He also made the comment, pointing to Mr. Lake and stating that he probably feels that he's worked hard for all that he has and that I shouldn't get it. There were other comments made that also shows his one sidedness, but it was more personal & I would not like it shown for public eyes.

Recently my son went to Burton for a divorce. Although I was not his client I wanted to let everyone know he is an excellent lawyer. When you go into his office you feel welcome and know his staff is there to answer any questions and concerns. Burt and staff are honest, helpful and compassionate. They tell you your options, lets you know what is expected from clients, thoroughly walk you through the process and keeps the client informed until the very end. Burt treats you like his own family. He knows the ends and outs of the legal system. Trust me, you want him in your side. He has the experience and intuition a good lawyer should have. If you are honest and forthcoming it will make your case go smoothly. He is thorough, prompt and demanding and in return he expects the same from his clients. Billing is detailed and upfront which lets the client know exactly where your money is used. Burton has helped me personally in the past and I'd have no reservations to seek his help in the future. My son can now live a happy and meaningful life. I want to thank Burton and his staff for all they do.

I recently had a child custody case and used Burton Hunter. The first thing that I liked about using Mr.Hunter was the fact that I was able to call and get a quote over the phone. All the other lawyers wanted to do a consultation and then charge you for an hour. Second was the professionalism of Mr. Hunter and his staff. When we went to court, I got exactly what I wanted. Third was the cost of going to court, which I thought in my opinion was very reasonable. I'd like to thank Mr. Hunter and his staff for doing a great job.

Here is my review perhaps you can publish for me: Mr. Hunter has represented me now for 9 years running on many different custody issues. I’ve always appreciated his professionalism and concerns for my children; not to mention his wonderful staff who always kept me updated on my case. I would love to speak more about my case, but I would not even know where to begin; since my court file is the size of a yellow pages phone book and Mr. Hunter knows best hand how my case has played out of the years. But I can say this if you have a case pending; hands down Mr. Hunter is one of the best and has protected the best interest of my children and my family.
