I came in contact with Karl Hawkins because I enrolled in the Legal Services program through my employer benefits. I wanted to have a Will and Power of Attorney done. Mr. Hawkins provided more than I ever imagined I would get through this program. He is extremely through and professional. He went over everything with me and covered things I never thought of. The documents were sent to me very nicely put together and professional looking. I highly recommend using Karl Hawkins for your legal needs. I was very impressed with his services.

I contacted M.Karl Hawkins to establish a Power of Attorney and a Will prior to a surgery I was going to undergo in little over a week. To say I was a little frantic is an understatement. I am only 52 and over all a healthy person but felt the need to put something in place before a major surgery to protect my two adult children. Everyone at M. Karl Hawkins was friendly and sensitive to my request and acted swiftly to assist me. They were able to accommodate me with a consultation in two days. I had a Trust, Last Will and Testament, Living Will, General Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Declaration, Deed of Gift, Personal Property Memorandum and Instructions and Beneficiary Deed in place within one week. I didn’t realize how exceptional this was until I spoke with other people that had gone through this process and it took them several weeks. I would absolutely recommend M. Karl Hawkins and his Staff. They didn’t just get the job done, they got the job done right!

We met with Karl to set up a Trust and were told we'd hear back in 2 weeks. We gave him extra time due to holidays, however 3 months later we still have heard nothing. I've emailed, left messages, even spoke with someone who told me I'd get a call back but have heard nothing.

Karl assisted our family with a probate issue. He made the process simple, he treated our family with the upmost respect and kindness. In the courtroom he handles himself with skill and you can tell the people affiliated with the court system respect him and the thorough job he does. I would highly recommend Karl and his staff.

Mr. Hawkins is outstanding - case closed! My father and I worked with him to set up Dad's POA/estate arrangements, and he was wonderful: knowledgeable and patient and genuine. We never felt like he was distracted or hurrying us along - he gave us his full attention and answered a TON of questions. We knew we were in very good hands, and that proved to be true just a couple years later when my healthy and clear-minded dad suddenly had a debilitating stroke. The one consolation throughout was that everything Mr. Hawkins had created for us was well organized and exactly what I needed to complete paperwork for hospitals, rehab sites, state and federal agencies, etc. It took a huge burden off of me and my entire family during a terrible time.
He and his staff have the process down to a science too - secure portals and electronic versions as well as hard copies, introductory materials that explain everything, a detailed summary of the services we requested, and - when everything is finalized - a neatly organized binder with everything clearly in place. That binder saved my sanity numerous times during my dad's unfortunate decline.
Lastly, I just went through the process all over again to arrange the estate for me/spouse/family. Once again Mr. Hawkins was a great pleasure to work with and we feel very good about how things have been arranged.

Very understanding. Makes my upset days, smooth out very competent. He is just wonderful.

Karl really helped us out of a jam where we needed to have legal documentation around a loan from my father in law in order to get the money approved as a down payment on our home. Gave him a call on a Thursday and he had it turned around by Monday, even with having a foot surgery on Friday. He was quick, courteous and very professional. Would definitely use again.

do not hire m.karl hawkins, as he will not answer phone calls etc.he should represent me in a case against a nursing home. i followed his advice & now they are suing me ,.told me he made a mistake by not filing on time.then told me to contact another attorney, which cost me more.and he did not fax over any paperwork that he promised to do .i paid him to file for medicaid , do not hire him,he lost paper work & we had to keep bringing it again, & again.said they did not keep the copies on file. he didnt do the estate planning either.
