It's like pulling teeth to get him to communicate. He broke client/attorney confidentiality and did practically nothing on the case. Only showed up to court 1 time in a year. Never again..

He has always done what he can. Most of the time it's been my issue for the position I'm in.

They handle all of my tickets. Great firm. The secretaries are very helpful and informative. Brian handled my tickets with no problems, and you can't find anyone less expensive.
I see bad reviews on here, but if you actually follow your attorney's advice AND pay your attorney fees, all is well.

I recently completed my court case with charges that could of had serious implications on my career and lifestyle . I was referred to Brian by someone who used him for a similar case. From the beginning he provided the timeline of exactly how the proceedings would take place . Everything went exactly as told by Brian. Over the several months leading up to the conclusion I realized that the years of experience Brian has coupled with the people he knows in Jefferson county proved to be invaluable . I am extremely happy with the decision to use Brian. The fees for his service were very fair and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of legal service. Thanks Brian.

paid guy what he told me it would cost to do simple custody and support hearing. before i even go to court, i get a bill for double the original amount, says hes not going to court unless i pay it. id call, email him and never get responses, seems he knows the despair regarding custodial issues and preys on them. get a real custody lawyer. im now going back to court with real custody lawyer out of clayton. just spend the extra money to do it right....

The worst decision I made in my family law case!! In 11 months he did absolutely nothing and I mean nothing... he can’t even return a phone call . I had to remind him of what my case was even about every time we met over and over again.. he did nothing at all but charged me and charged me.. the end result I had to fire him because it seemed my opponent was a better lawyer than he was and she is a seafood clerk!!! Do yourself a favor and do not use Mr Hammon! He is the worst possible lawyer I have seen in Jefferson county!

One of the absolute worst counselors I’ve ever had in my life. My experience could not have been more horrific this is a law firm and individual who does not know the law and is only out for his own self interest and income. I highly recommend if you value your situation and it is of importance to you find another firm find another lawyer Mr. Hammons unprofessionalism is unparalleled to the competing law firms in the area. Out of desperation is how I found this law firm out of frustration dissatisfaction and loyalty. Not to mention the lies and his own self interest. I found that he is a terrible terrible attorney .please if anybody is seeking his counsel and to come across this review this is not meant to be vengeful or left in anger this is a warning to everyone that there are way better attorneys in that area. Please take the time to seek out some of the competing law firm‘s and attorneys in the area before you make a final decision on this one . After posting this review I noticed three days prior another negative review this is unrelated to that individuals case. But it may show the pattern that others need to be aware of

It would let me get away with choosing no stars so I had to choose at least 1! My husband and I hired Brian K Hammon 2 years ago for a child custody case. Paid the amount that was asked, got all the information together that was asked for. (We printed it out, put it all in order, and gave it to him! Not via mail or email so it’s not like he or his secretaries had to do it) Had a good start on the filing but then he completely slacked off and let the respondents attorney take over it all and basically handed her his balls bc he had none to stand up for us! He even allowed for the attorney to speak to my husband in a manner that she should have not want it being his attorney!! Several court dates and a lot of money has went down the drain, asked him months ago to file something for us and he never did but sure had no problem taking our money! Does not like to return calls or emails, a HUGE LACK of COMMUNICATION, his secretary Ann is awful and very unprofessional. He does not stand up for what is right, only for what/who’s in the wrong! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!!

Horrible attorney who does nothing he says hes going will not stand up for you on court never would I recommend him to my worste enemy. Almost 2 years in an couple thousand later dropped us because he has no balls to go to trial I gave him all the evidence he needed he is just lazy an refused to do any work.

I have used Mr. Hammon on multiple occasions from traffic to divorce. He has always been quick to respond and resolve my cases. He is by far the best attorney I have used and highly recommend him.
