David diamond does it again. Thx

If I could do no stars I would. The worst experience of my life. Long story short I hired David Diamond September 2018. 2 weeks before my court date David Diamond told me he’s no longer representing me and that I have to find someone new. Come to find out I missed a hearing and now it’s delaying my case from being filed. I asked for a refund and he could only return $100 cause he “put so much time and energy” into my case. DD said he is shutting the business down and retiring. First off... if you knew you were retiring in 01/2019 you either finish the case or don’t take it. You don’t just get up and leave out of nowhere. (Malpractice) 4 days before my court date the new attorney I hired tells me they can’t represent me now bc they’re worried David Diamond didn’t file correctly and they stated they didn’t want anything to come back on them. 2 days before my court date I reached back out to DD, DD said he could come to court with me if I refunded the $100 back to him. I said that was fine. The night before my court date I didn’t hear from DD. the morning of my court date Still haven’t heard back from DD. I spoke with judge and Asked if I could represent myself which the judge allowed. It took DD 4 hours after my court date to text me and say he had a last minute emergency. He could’ve taken 2 seconds out of his time to call me, text me, email me, anything but he chose not to. He’s not faithful to his clients, he’s money hungry, he didn’t even do his job correctly. I would not want anyone to go through what i went through. I’m still dealing with this mess, I’m a broke college student it took a lot of time and money to save up so I could pay a “so call good lawyer to take care of me”. I would highly NOT recommend ever seeing or hiring DD for anything.
