Don't hire her for your GAL! If the court requires you to retain a GAL please look elsewhere. Amy Scholar believes she is above the law. If you want to end services with her she will turn your case over to DCFS with no evidence that it is warranted . She uses her power to make your life hell! Go against the way the case is being handled and she will get her revenge! Also the retainer is just a downpayment plan on 3x that amount! In my opinion this woman has no right calling herself a GAL. If this is the best Madison County can do the courts are in sad shape!

Paid 100 for 10 mins of her time to say it's gonna costs this much for her to look at anything.. Don't waste your time or money

Paid Amy and Kelley 8500 total for a fam case n 1 criml case. Half the time they wouldn't show for court. They never pushed and pursued any of our request. Then time came to act like a lawyer and poke our chest out to fight for our position. She jumped in my pocket. Then when I say I'm not pleased with their efforts she responds with,( well since your not happy with our efforts I'm dropping you and Amy said she is withdrawing as well. No money returned and appeared to 3 hearings. They act like they still work for the court as public pretenders. If u like donating your hard earned money call these double agents.
