Always very helpful! We all end up needing a lawyer for something, I prefer this office!

I had the absolute best experience with Dake law firm. I was very well taken care of and got way more out of my situation than I ever thought. Due to the hard work and quality of these attorneys! The staff is amazing and went above and beyond to help me through!

Ken Dake is a beautiful man! He works hard cares about his clients and will fight till the very end for you. People will definitely need Ken Dake to go against someone like dishonest Phillip Sawyer who thinks he is above the law.
I paid $1200 to file for bankruptcy in June 2017. I provided everything that was requested and completed the mandatory online credit counseling class. I was told it would take around 6 weeks for them to call me with a court date.
A little over a month passed and I had not heard anything, so I called to see what the hold up was. The person who was handling my case was always unavailable. I called and called and called and the person handling my case was still always unavailable or was “working” on it.
In November I received a letter for a court date regarding a creditor seeking a garnishment so I called the lawyers office to notify them. Finally they return my call to notify me they were ready to get everything filed but they needed my tax returns.
(5 months after payment for them to be ready, not 6 weeks like they said.)
I provided my tax returns immediately and they told me my case would be filed in December. I waited patiently but heard nothing from them. I was then hit with a different garnishment on my check from a previous court hearing so I called to see why my bankruptcy had obviously not been filed like I was told it would be. I then received an email from them saying that they hadn’t filed my bankruptcy because it was so close to tax time and I would probably lose all my taxes.
They gave me the option to file and lose my taxes or wait. They also said I would have to redo the credit counseling class since they waited so long to handle my bankruptcy.
I chose to wait but ultimately fired them from my case for poor business practice. I did receive a partial refund, but unfortunately lost money and time to accomplish nothing. Extremely frustrating.
