I was given Shannon’s number from a mutual friend that his dad had used Shannon a couple times and had a great outcome. My case was alittle ruff at times and due to my Ex-wife growing up multiple hours away it was a hard fight to keep her close to me for our son. Everything took sometime due to her and her lawyer stalling but through the entire case Shannon was very thorough in making sure she stayed on task and kept me informed on what was going on. We are about finished with the divorce and Shannon gave me a chance on custody and child support that was fair for everyone. I would recommend her time and time again as she has been so helpful and professional.

She took my case which was a rather controversial one without meeting me in person as I live in a state that doesn’t have jurisdiction over my case. I couldn't have asked for a better experience then I got with Bob. He was very patient with me and always worked with me with whatever i had going on. I hired this firm back in August 2017 to assist me with my divorce. Shannon is very knowledgeable regarding family law, timetables, and is an excellent communicator. Like most men going through a divorce, I was told by many firms the best I could hope for is maybe every other weekend and maybe a couple of extra days here and there with visitation.

Shannon was very candid and upfront, setting very honest expectations in my case regarding visitation and child support. Not only did she follow through with everything she said in the beginning, but the result was better than expected. I received the Name of this law firm from the Veteran Justice outreach program from the VA. I am a veteran and this firm said they would help me with my custody case. The last attorney I had was disbarred and took all my money and with out question the judge in this case was openly bias. The whole time I was talking with Attorney Shannon Gordon all I heard is what we can't do and how she does not think anything will change and then she made a statement that told me everything. She said I have to practice in front of this judge so I don't want to piss him off in so many words.So I received a letter saying they will not help me in this case, even though they volunteered there services, thus going back on there word. So when you hire this firm, know that you will only receive what is easy from them, if they ever have to dispute a judge it won't happen and they will tell you everything but the truth while they continue to take your money, because,,,,, they would rather short you than loose good standing with the judge.
Shannon also told me that she did not think my case was worthy of moving forward. Lets see, is my daughters health worthy? My daughter is desperate to get away from her mother!! I would never hire this firm and recommend you do not either.

idk about the rest of the firm, but one of their attorneys (Lyndsay Mathews) is unethical and makes up the rules as she goes, then reconfigures them to suit her needs as desired. I look forward to my filings/complaints against her with the bar. I’m just glad Honorable Otto saw through her bs and enforced her original bogus parenting plan.

Mr. Gordon was assigned to my divorce case as the court appointed guardian ad litem. i was told that both me and my now ex wife would each be paying a $1000 dollars for his fees. after every court hearing he requested additional fees which was not discussed. both parties were responsible for paying half of these additional fees, Robert also threatened to dismiss the case multiple times if those fees were not paid before the next hearing. when the case was settled i was left with owing Robert $218 of unpaid fees, before i could even pay these fees i was hit with a garnishment for $1599 for my fees and the other parties unpaid fees. i attempted multiple times to contact Robert over this situation and was only able to speak with his paralegal julie which could never give me a straight answer. he claims that "he's for the kids" but in all reality he just here for his wallet. if your looking for a crook or a joke for an attorney this is your guy
