I want to thank Mr. Kelly for taking my son's case. He believed in my son and fought hard to prove him innocent of a horrible crime. We went through two heartbreaking trials. The first was a hung jury and the second was NOT GUILTY..Thank you Mr. Kelly

We had a great experience with Mr. Kelly. He went out of his way to ensure the best defense possible. He not only cared for the client but was there for all the family and friends through the trial. He did win the case ! I would highly recommend him.

Our family had the great fortune to find this law firm and specifically David Kelly. A relative was falsely accused of a crime and after starting with the public defender, who did nothing, we switched to David. He went through the case and first got a hung jury. He knew his client was not guilty so agreed to stay on for the retrial and got the not guilty verdict that it should have been in the first place. Thank you David for believing in this case and helping our family get our lives back.

One star is giving these folks too much credit Casey Symonds lost not 1 but all 4 of my kids. He laid down in court and failed to present any evidence on our behalf. You would have better luck representing your self and it would be a whole lot cheaper.

Mr. John Reed met with my son as his GAL one time and formed an opinion without even meeting me the mother. When we went to court for a guardianship hearing and all Mr. Reed was concerned about was who was going to pay his bill. He handed my attorney and the other attorney his bill and then asked for it back so he he could change the amount to make it higher. While the judge was giving his decision he was trying to hand the judge his bill. The judge was not impressed with this tactic. I would not recommend him at all. He does not care about the client at all!

This is only lawyer we will use in the future!! He’s the best!

I contacted Mr. Kelly about a year ago and ended up not going through with what I wanted to but both his assistant and himself made such a good first impression. They are very friendly and genuinely care about their clients. Definitely would recommend Mr. Kelly for anyone seeking any kind of legal help.

We found ourselves facing over $20K in medical bills because our Doctors office didn't get written approval from the insurance company prior to a procedure even though we were told it was covered. Several other attorneys turned us down but Tyler with Kelly, Symonds & Reed took our case and saved us! Their office is very laid back and accommodating - can't say enough good things about this firm!

Absolutely do not recommend this business. I was hung up on twice, promised phone call/email didn't come. Again email supposedly not sent and asked to just get the phone number I needed regarding my case and was told to "google it". I thought I paid a fee for service! I wouldn't give one star but had to in order to post.

Came back to edit. I just read other reviews. People,, there is plenty of reason to look elsewhere for representation. Rude, disorganized, etc...definitely! As I said on the phone earlier today, you're fired! Go through the withdrawal process immediately!

John Reed was my kids guardian ad litem during my divorce. He never interviewed my kids, never talked to any of their teachers or counselors, never visited my house, he did NOTHING. I paid my $600 portion of his bill the first week he was appointed to us and when I called him to introduce myself and let him know I was available any time, his response was that he “was not inclined to spend too much time on this until he got paid”. The one and only time he went to my ex husbands house was when I called my attorney and had her call him and insist that he go over as I found out the water and lights had been shut off. That was on a Friday, my ex told him they would be turned on by the next day, a Saturday! Thanks to John Reed and his refusal to do his job, my kids were constantly exposed to drugs and it has caused them problems since then. And after the divorce was finalized, he then garnished my wages for my ex husbands half of the bill. This man is a real danger to children. If you love your kids, do not use him as a guardian ad litem! I wouldn’t even give him 1 star but I have to in order to do this review.

John Reed is a crook! Really not surprised to hear they are dealing with a malpractice suite. Took advantage of my family a few years ago. We spent over $2000 and he did not even manage to file the petition or any other document. Scheduled a phone call with him and he did not even know what our case was about nor had he read any of our emails or other communications. Disgusted that this person is still able to practice law. Recommend making a bar complaint for anyone who has been taken advantage of by this firm!!

These guys were an absolute heaven sent! They helped me with my custody case and I would recommend them to anyone. & Always there to answer my questions. John Reed and David Kelley really had my back. The paralegals are amazing and the sweetest ever! They are the BEST!!! Oh, and they are all really good at their jobs.

Horrible family court attorney. Ill prepared. Sent private emails to opposing attorney. Assured me he was prepared but was not. More than once I was waiting at the courthouse without representation. If you are a woman who is dealing with domestic violence stay far away from this office. One of the attorneys was in the middle of dealing with his own legal malpractice suit which was not disclosed and created conflict in my case. Court dates were missed and I was told they never occurred and it must have been a misprint on the docket/judgement. A direct quote from the attorney was "I still have to work with these people (opposing attorneys) after your case. I don't want to upset them. " When the case was over, the attorney sent me a text to watch my back because my ex and his attorney were furious and he feared for my safety. He often encouraged discussions to be done by text or personal email because his personal email would be less likely to be subpoenaed if there were issues later. Bottom line.... If you have a high conflict divorce or modification, do not give a dime to this firm. They might be fine for simple paper work or traffic tickets but if anything Is is at stake, you are better off to represent yourself than to trust them with your future.

I went to Kelly, Symonds, & Reed for a name change. It couldn't have been any easier. David Kelly and his paralegal, Karen, helped me through the paper process and John Reed went to court with me on the day I saw the judge. Everyone is so professional and answered any questions I had a long the way. Responsive immediately to emails or phone calls. Thank you, guys!

Worst attorney out there. He didn't care about my child or myself at all during my divorce. Told me to chill out my kid wasn't on another planet when my husband took him wo permission and refused to give him back. I was even advised to fire him by my local police department . When I tried, he didn't turn in the paperwork so I could get another attorney. Totally worthless.
