I wish I could give 0 stars. I have a debt that I want to take care of but I cant even get this company to call me back!!! Ive called every single day for several weeks and left messages every time. I've never received a statement or any type of communication about this issue. How hard is it to at least just tell me what I owe!!!

Best attorney ever. Most efficient people you will ever work with. So knowledgeable!

Usually very ride. Unwilling to work towards a reasonable resolution.
This has to be the absolute rudest staff I have ever had to deal with. They will not return e-mails nor phone calls. And they just dance around the questions asked without giving a real answer.

We had to fire an atty from this law firm today. We are currently going through Probate proceedings. The first mistake the atty made was filing a motion based on some information that he did not investigate which had us scrabbling to withdraw so that we wouldn't get sued. The second mistake had us agree to a partial distribution, not knowing that other party(ies) had an interest in our portion of the distribution. As a client, you never want to hear "I was under the impression..." We pay professionals to know, not guess. This is our experience and thought others should know.

A great group of experienced lawyers. (I had to give them a good review so they wouldn't sue me. )

Jo Ann Butaud and I have worked together for several years now. I am a consumer bankruptcy attorney and Jo Ann represents creditors. Normally people would raise an eyebrow of someone who represents clients who are being sued by Jo Ann would write a review. The law is about relationships and working towards a resolution while striving to protect our client’s interest. At times, these relationships can become very aggressive and the only thing the parties receive is an ulcer. This is not true of Evans and Mullinex and certainly not true of Jo Ann Butaud. This is why while reviewing a client’s case and recognizing I had taken for granted the skill and professionalism of Jo Ann and her crew, I felt compelled to write this review.
The sign of a good lawyer is one who is recognized by their clients and their peers on the same side of the law.
The sign of a great lawyer is one who is recognized by the above AND by their opposing counsel.
Jo Ann goes even farther and exemplifies all the qualities of a distinguished lawyer!

They were very professional and helped turn a bad situation into a positive one. Joanne Stutz worked extremely hard, and we never felt like just a number. She did not allow anything to slip through the cracks. Overall, she and the firm were a pleasure to work with.

Called to ask a simple question. The "Firm Contact" I received from Hyatt Legal Services was a phone number to a "Jo Ann Butaud". I'm not sure if she's the rude, unhelpful, troll-ish sounding individual I spoke with but I think she is.
When I called she answered very rudely and asked what I needed. I told her my situation and she then asked me if I was seeking legal counsel. I told her yes (why else would I be calling?), and she asked for my name. As I was giving my name she literally cut me off and transferred me to someone else (an Intern I presume), who again asked me the same exact questions. I told him that I had just spoken to someone and was transferred out of no where and his response was that it was "probably the receptionist" and didn't seem surprised at all at her behavior.
Since I had to repeat the same information to this person, and since he wasn't at all surprised that his Receptionist is as rude and worthless as I described, one has to question how this firm handles their affairs. If they can't even hire, in this economy, a Receptionist with the most basic of Customer Service skills how do they handle their paperwork and legal proceedings?
I ended up calling 3 other legal offices in the area and each was very nice and eager to help.

Evans & Mullinix is worth no one's time.
