Two different companies are taking money out of my checks, this company being one of them. I called the other company and they agreed to take me from being garnished from 25 percent down to 10. H Kent hollins office basically told me it's not their problem. They don't care if you have kids, bills, anything. Scum.

Absolute highway robbery , the worst collection agency in town, interest rates are outrageous and I feel sorry for anyone employed here.

Pay your payments monthly on time and you forget 1 payment 8 days late and they have already sent it for garnishment. They have no sympathy for people in general. Care only about money.

The receptionist here is a dead-eyed, rude, charmless, depressing person who wouldn't smile if you paid her. I would have fired her instantly if I were her boss. But I'm not sooooo...whatever. That being said, the rest of the staff here are efficient, helpful, and polite. They helped me with a legal matter in mere minutes, over the phone, and allowed me to set up an affordable payment plan for my fines. Which is great for someone like me who is fighting to put their life together a piece at a time and who doesn't make a whole lot of money. Bravo, Kent Hollins. Except for that receptionist. Ew.

This company came out of no where with a debt from 2011 doctors office that I have no clue who they are. They started garnishing my wages. The amount was 1100 and has been paid but they won’t stop garnishing me. They do t answer the phone. Looks like I need my own lawyer. After reading all these reviews looks like a class action suit is in order.

These people are heartless. They will stop at nothing to get a buck.

Monica Walker wrote a bad check back in 2007. My husband faxed 10 signatures and a letter he wrote to me showing his handwriting. They tried to convince us that his handwriting is very close to the signature on the check. THEY ARE LYING. Jenna has a horrible attitude and is very disrespectful. I'm convinced that she only talk tough on the phone because she is a punk in real life. The handwriting on the check don't match my husband's and they know it. My attorney is going after this company for theft and harassment. Enjoy it while it last Jenna because you and everyone else who was involved in taking my husband's money will be held accountable and hopefully will be put in jail.

If they wasn't taking my money for stuff i owe i would have gave them 5*'s friendly staff and willing to work with me on my payments.

If there was an option for zero stars I would have picked zero. These (I really dont even want to call them people, more like robots who have no care for anyone but their money) these robots suspended my bank accounts directly, taking half of my paycheck TWICE. And locking me out of the account for over 15 days. I couldnt buy food I couldnt pay my bills and no one could do anything about it. They care about money that isnt even theirs SO much they would rather throw someone deeper into debt, have them be burried in NSF fees, and make it so they cant pay their water bill or put food on the table. They take what they want and throw you to the wolves. I called an ambulance because I needed emergency assistance-my first and last time. I would rather have risked going into shock and driving myself to the hospital...and because I couldnt pay over a grand for a three mile drive these people caused so many problems with just everyday life. JUST A GRAND. I ended up costing over three times as much ultmamely in late fees and back payments to other bills because they suspended my accounts.

Filing a suit with the attorney general! They would not accept my proof of paying a $249 debt from 2016! The biggest scam artist I’ve ever met and Angela on the phone yelled at me and hung up and refuses to answer my calls now. File with the Attorney General of Kansas y’all! They drained my bank account to $0.

Had a loan with a bank over 5 years ago. Paid it off (its on my credit report as paid on time). Yet he keeps trying to drag me to the ag hall every 2 months and wont accept my credit report as proof the debt is paid. SCAM ARTIST! Someone should make him disappear.

I set up an auto payment for the 30th of May however my card was stolen and I have a temporary card, I called today to make a payment-it’s on a check case however they refused a partial payment, they told me they won’t take partial payments on check cases-is this illegal to refuse money for a debt and then say at any time we will take you to court

The woman who answered the phone is a rude smart mouth. I had an old bill that was $475 and they charged me $1898.00. I called back after paying them $1300.00 to try to settle the account. The lady put me on hold for 30 seconds literally and came back on to tell me that I have to pay the entire $1898.00. This place has scumbags answering the phone and you can never speak to the actual attorney. Rip off artists at it finest.

Integrated Trustee Services is just another way for a lawyer to take peoples money. I don't need their services but because they became the trustee for the county my child support case is filed, they take a percentage of my child support. Something is wrong with this system!

I recently was garnished from my employer without any proper notification from a debt from 2009 that was not on my credit report either so i had no remembrance of the debt. I cleared my debt with 1 paycheck garnishment. 2 days after I received another call about another file they had that I was subjected to garnishment.so I tried explaining to the agent ,you just took my whole paycheck of coarse I don't have money to clear the balance today!.I tried explaining to the agent an she was so rude an gave me no alternatives. I expressed how her customer service was horrible an she replied with "I'm not a customer service agent, I'm a bill collector" .I ended up hanging up an calling back to speak with another agent who was able to get me on a monthly installment plan. I have been current but every time I call in to make my payment , I get their voice mail an no return call back within a reasonable time frame. I'm almost sure if they don't receive my payment they will say I failed to pay on time! So frustrated with this company an the people working for it! I understand the debt it owed but the practices they work under are so unprofessional!

Our taxes were garnished by the Tax setoff program for our bill paying it off and they still garnished my husbands check.

Debt collectors do suck BUT It is our debt and it is the employment they have just like we have employment to take care of our families. I have had a really great communication with this company. I of course hate paying it but if I had stayed on top of it I would not be in this position just like the rest of you. I am respectful to them and they have always given me the same respect. Be adults, pay your bills, and if you can't work out a payment plan or you will be in contact with a debt collector. Such is life.

They claim they send you information and don't and then garnish your wages, not sure how something that wasn't mine $53 and some change on a fraud check which they asked for information that I gave them and then tell me to send them something from 2009 after I already gave them required information, now equates to over $1000 garnishment....... These people are scum. I understand that a debt was owed on my part but that does not make me an idiot.
In June of this year they sent my employer a wage garnishment letter for X amount. When I was notified in writing of the garnishment by their office a few weeks later I called and was told that I owed $557. At this time, NEVER was it mentioned that they had notified my employer to withhold almost $20 extra dollars. It took a couple of months for the first garnishment to take place, then I still owed them $248. The day before my next pay day I got another letter from their "office" stating I owe $562-so, regardless of them sending a letter with one number, telling me a completely different number, they just keep racking on interest.
My next paycheck had an EXTRA $300 taken out for garnishment even though I owed less than half of what they took out. Then I called their office, was hung up on twice because apparently I'm not supposed to be upset about this, no one could give me an answer as to when they will refund me my money that THEY STOLE from me, or how much they will even give me. Finally, the 3rd person I talked to had some kind of common sense, yet she still told me I would probably be paying $565 total.
So let's break this down:
*original debt was around $100 until this office got a hold of it.
*garnishment order sent for almost $20 more than what I was told I owed 3 weeks after the letter was sent
*interest has grown $5 in 3 months
*somehow in 3 days interest is supposed to grow by $3 because the letter I received THIS week stated $562 but on the phone one day ago I was told $565.
*NEVER have I seen or been given an itemized list detailing what I owe. How, and why.

Mr. Hollins, you have just tried to screw over the wrong person. I am aware that you typically deal with people on limited incomes.
I am not one of them. I will be hiring a lawyer, ordering paperwork from your "office", and getting every single penny back from you that you STOLE from me. Your office has harassed me, neglected to answer the most simple of questions, refused to address my concerns, been unable to tell me EXACTLY how much I owe, and so much more. Take your office staff out to lunch with the extra $300 you stole from me, I will own your office when it comes to light that you actually did not have the right to collect whatever "interest" amount you deemed necessary.

These people are so heartless. I understand I owe a debt and that is my responsibility to pay. But no reason to treat me like dirt on the bottom of a shoe.

I set up a payment plan for 31.63 i go in thete with all of it and the receptionist said they dont take change so only 31 dollars. Then i get a note (before my next payment) said they are garnishing my account for failure to pay. They didnt even take the 31 i paid out of my total. Needles to say i hopped in my car and by the time i showed up they had the garnishing release paper ready for me.

Kent Hollins is the biggest shyster I have ever encountered in my adult life! I wrote a check 15 years ago and during the waiting time of the checking to be processed, I had my identity stolen and my bank account wiped out. The bank put a Status 4 on my account which means: "Nothing comes in and Nothing goes out". So the check was declined. Fast forward I finally got new accounts and was notified about the check for $10 to McDonald's not clearing. I battled with the bank about it and they would not take blame. I was taken to court for it. I paid the check and NSF fee. Next thing I know I have $4?? dollars being garnished. Then it went up to almost $1,000. $1,000 for a $10 check? Are you fricking kidding me? Oh I've been talked to like I'm nothing and this man has been getting $5 a month from me since 2002. I didn't know that he was struggling so bad that he needed to go after a single, disabled mother of 3 for bogus Court Fees. I just can't believe the law allows this. SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME THERE'S A WAY TO STOP HIS MADNESS! I wish they had a "Negative Stars" rating.

I wrote a check 11 years ago in the amount of $12.50 to Texaco Starmart. I enlisted in the Marine Corp and was shipped out. I closed my checking account before the check was able to clear. 11 years later I go into work, to find my account depleted of $114.00 a month ago. Now I received another email from my employer stating that this law firm is now garnishing my wages for $725.38 and an holding my pay check for an additional $801.16, for a grand total of $1,526. FOR A CHECK I WROTE 11 YEARS AGO IN THE AMOUNT OF $12.50. Can't believe I enlisted to serve this corrupt government and country! I am now married with a 3yr old and 6 month old and worrying how I am going to pay my car payment and mortgage.

Unbelievable how they do business. I don't get off work until 5 most days so I have to do payments over the phone. Generally my boss is nice enough to let me off about 10 til 5 so I can call. More often than not they shut the phones off at 4:50. This place hires nothing but mean girls to run the front dest and nothing but idiots to do their collecting. I feel for anyone who has ever and will ever have to work with the jerk-offs.

Poor but let me be fair... It's not because of what they do its how they do it. If you miss one payment they garnish your wages or steal from your bank account. Overall scum of the earth getting rich off the poor folks who are late on nothing more than hospital bills.

He garnished my checking acct. right after I got paid, because I added my son to my acct., in case something happens to me. then he can have money to care for my disabled daughter. I do not get paid for another 11 days. I did not go food shopping before this happened, so I hardly have any food in my house.My utility bill is due and my phone bill (that I paid the day before) came through after they took all my money. If my bank doesn't pay it, then I will have no phone. My disabled daughter also has seizures. I won't be able to call 911 or her doctor. I had a payment arrangement & I admit that I forgot. My husband passed away & I am still distraught. My life was turned upside down. I called last week to pay it, but no one returned my call. When I called them today about the garnishment, they were unfeeling, cold-hearted human beings (if you can call them that!). They are unreasonable. On our court date, the judge just sent us over into this never ending line & his representatives just made the arrangements.I think he is in cahoots with the judge. Also, to think that a Catholic Hospital (St. John's in Leavenworth) would hand over there accounts to such scum of the earth shocks me. I know other people have experienced the same thing. He needs to be investigated. He is no attorney. He just plays one. All you are Hollins is a bill collector not an attorney!!!! You will get yours someday.
