Very horrible experience hiring this man to take care of after death affairs. Completely unempathetic toward me, and my siblings after we survived a double tragedy that we experienced firsthand. The major regret of hiring Mr. Barnhill is that he tried to pit myself, and my siblings against each other by advising one to threaten and intimidate another into compliance, or yet as a punishment for one sibling seeking their own other estate attorney to oversee their section of the estate after losing faith in Mr. Barnhills counsel even going as far as to personally threaten the one sibling with proof of fraud which never happened nor existed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this attorney for intestate matters. He is probably ok with preparing estates before death, but handling grieving clients, and making things easier on them is defintely not his forte. At least not in our case.
