Linda took a case that should have been resolved easily in 60 days by filing a motion to downwards modify temporary Spousal getting the judge to either impute income to my ex or getting the judge to demand a work order cutting temporary spousal in half. Instead she stretch the case over a year experimenting with my money inefficiently ramping up legal fees over $42,000 dollars on a simple case where there are no children involved never proposing downwards modification. I had to terminate her services almost going broke with no resolution. I hired a new attorney that charged me a third of what Linda charged me and he was able to resolve the case in two hearings getting the judge to demand that my ex would seek employment imputing income against her cutting my temporary spousal support obligation in less than half. Linda’s billing was abusive, the unnecessary exhorbitant amount of phone calls and emails where toxic getting nothing accomplished for over a year. Her bundle billing system is a rip-off and she exposed my case delaying fillings for almost 3 weeks due to the exhorbitant amount of vacation time she takes. I don’t recommend her, her hourly charge is exhorbitant and abusive at best. Be careful and seek advice from other attorneys.

Linda was a gift from above for my family. We needed someone who was compassionate first but then advise us with realistic expectations. She went above and beyond in court as well as one on one. She helped pull out the answers we needed in court without making things harder for me. I am extremely thankful for having Linda Garrett represent me with my extremely difficult divorce case. She went above and beyond to help my family and I . I was going to a very difficult time of my life when I was going through my divorce.
I first went to what I thought was the most convenient and civil way to handle a divorce which is “mediated divorce”.
