A person renting a room in my house attacked me in my backyard after a day of drinking. He punches me twice in the head while im sitting down. Then when i get up he tackles me, I start to fight back and in the end i am arrested for Mayhem. By the time my wife bails me out its 4 in the morning. I personally was dressed out about my case I couldn’t come up with the money in time for court and as I was in my way to court I realized that my court date was the day before so I had missed it and had a warrant out for my arrest. I avoided it for 7-8 months and then I was pulled over and taken in for the warrant. I researched lawyers left and right and didn’t feel comfortable with my freedom in their hands some don’t do their job. I ended up with a basic speeding ticket and a fine vs probation for 3 years and jail time and major points on my driving record. My charges were reckless driving, speeding over 100 mph and evading. Vince won my DMV hearing by subpoenaing the body cam footage from the arresting officer. My job requires that I possess a driver license, so winning the DMV hearing when you're a .17 was a huge plus and allowed me to continue working and supporting myself financially. Becuase the officer failed to read me my rights about taking a blood test vs getting a search warrant, the DMV gave back my license. Vince then took over when he filed a motion to suppress the blood draw as it lacked probable cause. I could write a ton more but lets just say that Vince is a LOT better at his Job than the Solano County District Attorney is at theirs, plain and simple.
