My husband and I worked with Sumita and she was great. Answered all our questions, responded quickly and made the process an enjoyable one.

Things started out going well, but when it came to time to produce, the attorney I worked with ended up charging $2200 to research basic business law and then send me 2 forms he downloaded from atyourbusiness{dot}com and filled in the names on. How do I know where they were from, he didn’t even take the time to remove the “for more free forms, visit atyourbusiness{dot}com” footer from the files or put it on appropriate letterhead.

In short, I paid $2200 for free forms and a person to do basic law research that I had already done. I expected much more from a “professional” business law attorney.

I’d suggest staying away from this firm. You’d be much better served doing pretty much anything else in this instance.

I have met many, many attorneys in my private and professional life over the years, as well as come to understand the importance of great legal advice and representation. Greg McCoy is one of the most talented, competent, and informed attorneys that I have ever encountered. i can genuinely recommend him without reservation. Theresa Daem, Corona Del Mar, CA

My experience was not good at all. I asked to speak to Mr McCoy as he was recommended to our business. The purpose of my call was to inquire if he is even the right counsel to engage for the situation that we have . Instead of getting Mc Coy I get his gatekeeper, a woman who comes across in my opinion as difficult to deal with, and asked question after question. I finally said look, I am asking to speak to Mr McCoy to see if he is the right attorney to hire. She then goes into Mr McCoys billing rate and wants my name and billing information to even talk to the guy to see if I can hire him. Very bad experience in my view. Can't say anything good or bad about Mr. Mc Coy because I never spoke to him. But the gate keeper and the way I was treated was not well received. I have used many attorneys for years and this was a first. Did not do business with them and won't because of the way I was treated by the gatekeeper. I have to wonder when I am referred to someone and attempt to inquire about hiring them why they would make that so difficult. Perhaps she was having a bad day but it didn't help the company make any more money nor get an engagement letter out nor answer even my basic question if they even handle this area of the law. But to each his own I guess. They may be the best firm in the Bay Area, but my opinion is the way this particular employee handled it is not the best way to get new business. Again, no opinion on the legal services or the quality of the attorneys because I wasn't able to get that far without a credit card and billing me before I even knew if they handled the type of business matter I was calling about. Very unfortunate.
