I’m still disappointed even though I went to court in May and I paid Mr.Cardon $650 he told me that I would get my reckless driving to improper driving but fooled me. Here we go standing up in front of the judge and he leaning and his head down talking to the judge. He never even met up with me about my ticket before I had court so I had no idea who df I was looking for when I walked in he didn’t even wanna talk to me. He just wanted my damn money ! I hired Mr Cardon to represent me in court for a traffic violation. I received a ticket for reckless driving for speeding in excess of 80 MPH (my speedometer said differently...).
In Virginia, reckless driving can hold some pretty hefty consequences. Although I was a little upset after finding out 2 days before my court date that he had a scheduling conflict and needed to continue the case, the end result was an answer to prayer!!! He was able to get the charges majorly reduced!! Hiring him was definitely worth the money and he would be my first recommendation to anyone that needs and attorney in Virginia Beach.

Sometimes once in awhile you get a traffic ticket that is completely unwarranted and was "overdone" by the cop issuing the ticket. David Cardon got me out of a "Wreckless driving" ticket which could have issued me a felony in some cases and a misdemeanor in nearly all.

This would have meant a possibility of me not being able to achieve clearance on certain bases from where I work.

Luckily with David Cardon's calm professional manner in arguing my case to the judge and his legal reasoning, the judge threw out the Wreckless driving charge and Im scott free!

While David got my case put on a probationary status and ultimately dropped (which the police said would happen even without a lawyer), I got a call shortly after from another firm he was working for (Washington DC number) asking for the fees again. Apparently he charged double what they do and didn't forward them the payment.

After the court visit, he tried to continue his work with me by charging about $1500 to file additional expungement paperwork, which the clerk of court did for under $100, with most of it refunded back after processing.

He is a swindler. Again, I am happy with the outcome, but knowing it could have come at half of the price and how he lied about the process for expungement is disgraceful and disturbing.

I received a reckless 73 in a 45 along with failure to obey a traffic signal( I ran a red light in a 3 way intersection after coming to a complete stop). I am a felon on probation so this charge could have sent me to prison. I drove a good distance to meet him and from the start I knew everything was going to be okay. For those who have clean records and are not on probation shouldn't sweat if you pick up some hefty driving charges because this guy will get you out of that court room within minutes. My old lawyer got my last reckless which was only 81 in a 60 while being in hov lane outside of hours to speeding with a $500+ fine and that doesn't include his cost+ 68+ driver improvement. While this guy got me dropped from 73mph to 64mph while also blatantly running a red light to speeding and disobeying a traffic signal to a $255 fine and everything is settled. Overall I won't mention costs between my two lawyers but I will say for my situation this guy got me out of a real deep hole(5years in prison for a probation violation). I recommend this guy for anybody but highly recommended to those like myself that get a serious charge and can't afford a violation. To those who don't understand a violation means getting a criminal charge on probation/parole that get you sent back to prison or jail for a pretty good amount of time if not years.
