She was and has been very helpful in breaking down all the information I had received and suggesting how I go on about it. Update! Please see Yelp for her response and my proof. BEWARE!! I'm truly disappointed with the service I received and wouldn't recommend Lisa to anyone. The very first phone call I made to her she was rude and sounded as if she had no time for any of my questions. Although I was skeptical, I read reviews and decided to go with her, HUGE MISTAKE. I needed her help filling out forms for child custody, visitation, support modification and filing. There was a scheduling issue, so when I showed up to my appointment, I could hear her inside, but she was speaking to me through her doorbell stating she was gone running an errand. I had to return later in the day to have my first appointment with her. I paid her everything upfront. The first visit was fine, she was friendly in person, asked all the right questions, and let me know I'd see her again to go over the paperwork. When I went to my next appointment to go over what she typed up she had the visitation schedule I was requesting COMPLETELY WRONG, and let me tell you, it's as simple as they come. It was as if she didnt listen to me at all during my initial visit with her. After leaving I was upset and couldnt stand the way my declaration was executed and I messaged her to politely let her know I wanted parts of it to be redone. She made no more time for me, stated she was "finished" with my forms and offered to leave my forms under her doormat for me to revise. Yes, under her doormat, I was fine with that, but even after my revision there were tons of mistakes, spelling errors, words that seemed to be left out on purpose so certain sentences made no sense. She was confrontational on multiple occasions through text. I ended up filing the forms she prepared MYSELF, which is a service I paid her for in her fees whether she admits it or not. I filed the forms myself because she lied about the courthouse being closed. Sure they were closed, but open across the way to continue their services. Her response was, she doesnt have enough to pay her court runner to stand in line for 2 hours. FYI Lisa, my forms were filed in less than 15 minutes, at this one window. She is rude, a liar, and doesnt seem to have any compassion for her clients who are already going through a tough time. I'm embarrassed with what I had to serve the other party and have to clear a lot if things up in court with the judge because of her mistakes. I would never recommend her.
