Going through a divorce is the most stressful and draining situation I have ever been through. Unfortunately on top of the stress of a broken marriage, I had to deal with a lawyer that was absent for over a year. I have come in contact with 7 different lawyers over the last 7 years (via personal experience and through situations dealing with friends) and every situation has seemed to be extremely frustrating and/or a disaster. I began to wonder if there were any lawyers existing that had ethics and morals. Is there any lawyer that actually does care about my kids or myself or is it just a transition of money? After wasting a year of time and money, I was weary and worn out. I had the privilege of transitioning and hiring Chris Eatmon to handle my divorce. Through this process and watching these other friends that have issues dealing with lawyers I can honestly say, "Chris is the best". Not only did she care for me and my kids, I feel as though I have made a friend for life. I even saw her eyes fill with tears as I broke down in her office. Chris has a heart and engages 100% to what she is doing. Being a business owner myself, Communication and attention to detail are key to success and extremely important to me. Chris excelled greatly in both of these areas. Nothing ever came as a surprise to me. Although, I don't believe any divorce has a good outcome, Chris eased the blow and saved my sanity and rendered the best possible outcome. She went the extra mile and I believe she will for you too. I highly recommend Chris Eatmon and her team. David

Ms. Eatmon is passionate with a strong work ethic, which made for a straightforward yet compassionate level of service. It was apparent she cared about my case and my well-being the entire duration of the legal process. Ms. Eatmon and her team responded quickly and professionally to all concerns I had, which gave me great relief during such a hard time.

I am a practicing family law attorney and have used Chris as a mediator, as well as had cases in which she was the opposing attorney. Her professionalism is unparalleled. She always conducts herself with the utmost integrity and is a great advocate.
As a mediator, her knowledge of the law and local Judges stances on particular issues makes her an asset to both sides. She is patient and kind with all of the parties and works hard to help the parties work through their issues to a resolution.
Ms. Eatmon has always handled my divorce/family and child custody affairs fairly and objectively. My experience has been that even though things may not go as I have liked them, Ms. Eatmon did her job, kept me informed and lived up to the integrity of her reputation. Her direct approach is fresh and a nice change from getting the runaround. I did not feel that my money was wasted. Anyone who gives her a bad review is probably just disgruntled that things didn't go their way and had unrealistic expectations of reality.

Ms. Eatmon eagerly took on my child custody modification case and was positive she would secure a more favorable visitation schedule for me with my children. It was a contentious case so she highly recommended litigation over negotiation as previous attempts at an agreement and mediation were shut down by my ex. She advised me she should be able to handle the case for the $7500 she required up front for funding the trust account. I was led to believe she would be personally handling my litigation but found after replenishing the trust account for the case to the tune of more than $26,000 she had her junior attorney primarily working on my case who had nearly zero litigation experience in child custody matter. In the middle of my case, without any communication to me, she fired this junior attorney which was extremely disconcerting. It made me wonder if I basically flushed the money for legal fees and hopes for a positive outcome down the toilet. Did she fire the attorney for misconduct? For unethical behaviors? Did she sabotage my case? End result after paying Ms. Eatmon’s firm more than $28,000 in legal fees I am back where I started before I had her legal representation as she was not able to secure any modification of custody/visitation in my case. Her only comment after the verdict was giving me the name of an appeals attorney and advising me I could appeal. No other offer of any last attempt to secure an agreement for modification of custody with my ex and not even an expression of empathy. Shortly thereafter I get served with a summons to appear in court as she is suing me for $7,000 more in legal fees #greedyattorney #theattorneysalwayswin I would not recommend Ms. Eatmon for any family law matters as she is in it for the money alone, win or lose and has no heart. The state of the family court system is all about the attorneys filling their pockets and not about bringing children and parents together.
