Great real estate law firm.

This office worked on a our townhouse closing. The sellers chose this office and we just had them do our part of the paperwork as well. They were pretty responsive and helpful over email but acted like you bothered them if you called. I had to call twice with questions/concerns and both times they were rude and didn't seem to want to help. I felt as though I was bothering them although I was a paying customer. I would not use this office again. I wouldn't want to use an office that I dont feel comfortable calling and I dont feel wants to assist me.

Very unprofessional law office. As a realtor, I contacted the firm to use for two, same day closings. Empty promises, no returned phone calls, and two weeks of wasted time is what I ended up with. We moved on to a different attorney and got results in a timely manner.

Service leaves much to be desired. We had to wait a month for an appointment to be scheduled via email. Then we called. Someone promised to call back and never did. I would not recommend an office, stay away!!!!

They forgot the send over the settlement statement until the morning of closing, and then acted bothered that the closing had to be delayed because I wasn't (within the three hour window afforded) able to obtain a cashiers check in time for closing. This is an excerpt from their email at noon for a 3pm closing the same day:

"All, I deeply apologize. I had this file marked on my spreadsheet that the settlement statements had been sent to all, and I cannot for the life of me find it in my sent box. Please see attached."

What bothered me more is that they didn't own up to this at all going forward from this point. Would not recommend given my experience.

Where do I start.. we recently purchased a home in garner. We had Jonathan’s law firm represented us for closing documents per our realestate agency. Signing went well all though there was a slight mix up with funds transfer. Which I was able to resolve with the help from the bank. Signing was quick and we were on our way. After signing we moved into our home and 4 days later the main sewer line backed up into the house. We contacted our real estate agency who works with Jonathan on all closing and real estate needs to help resolve the issues we had with previous home owner who choose no representation on closing documents for repairs on the home. We thought this law firm would go to bat for us against our inspection company and previous home owner. I could only communicate through our real estate agent to this firm. I repeatedly placed calls and emails trying to get in contact with them about the issues we were having after move in. I was willing to spend money on possibly taken inspection company and previous home owner to court to have over 25k in repairs covered. Jonathan wouldn’t give me the time of the day respond to emails or phone calls about trying to resolve this matter. He would only speak through our real estate agent to me. Who just kept saying there was no way to prove that previous home owner did anything to the main sewer pipe. I was not demanding or rude. I just simply left messages asking for a phone call and or emails asking for help. NO RESPONSE.... seriously!!! A we don’t want to help you would have been better then being ignored.. We ended up having to replace main sewer pipe that goes into home which was very costly for us. Upon removal we found that the previous owner had in fact done faulty repairs to the line and had covered it up. We took pictures and confirmed everything with plumbing company. I again reached out to real estate agency and to Jonathan to let them know we have documentation/photos and plumbing company saying there’s no way the previous home owner didn’t know about pipe. He owned the home for 30 years. I was again ignored. Baffled. Why wouldn’t you want to help us??? I was always professional never received call backs or emails. I believe that this firm/realestate agency/inspection company all worked together to keep me quiet. Allowing for time delays so that I could not sue possible inspection company and previous home owners real estate agency. I have long thought about contacting 5 on your side and seeing if I get a response from them then. It took 4 months to have our home put back together and with 3 children it was not easy living on subfloors, and no kitchen. All I wanted was our out of pocket expenses covered. I am a fare person with everything I do. I am starting to wonder if all 4 companies worked together to keep inspection company and local real estate professionals from Getting in trouble .
