Chip Younce has been my lawyer for nearly a decade. After I suffered a life altering injury on the job at the age of 31, I became very depressed and hopeless as I discovered all too quickly that Work Comp was not out for my best interest but more to make sure they didn’t have to pay anything to get me back to a functional quality of life. My biggest mistake my first year of injury was not having an attorney. I was just hoping my injury would heal and yet when it got worse , always rendering me nearly immobile after anything doctors tried, my best friend who is a PT and has worked with many work comp patients said I had to get representation. Chip Younce came highly recommended in my local area and he was nothing but kind and professional when I met with him. He immediately went to vying on my behalf and advocating for me and the wheels were set in motion to receive help rather than be placated or ignored by work comp. Even when 2 surgeries I ended up having due to my injury resulted in a lifelong disease of my nervous system and my case has become more arduous, he has continued to fight on my behalf for holistic treatments that have greatly benefited me and given me a greater quality of life than I’ve had in the past 10 years since injury. As well as being top notch at the legal side of my case, Chip Younce is above all a compassionate, and understanding person. This is difficult to find in the legal field from what I’ve heard and experienced. Once when work comp was going to insist I be reimbursed for $100 a month holistic pain patches, Chip called me personally to let me know he wouldn’t let that happen as he remembered, out of all his cases, that I live very frugally and don’t make much money. He ensured they had to pay outright. This is just one of many instances of his personalized brand of being a lawyer. I recently shared with Chip that he is not in the legal business as much as he’s in the hope business. He has given me hope that I will not just become a number on work comp’s roster. He has helped me maintain my dignity and know I am not a case - first and foremost, I am a person of value. All that being said , if you don’t have Chip in your corner, your fight may just be a whole lot harder.

I called to set up a face to face meeting to discuss a personal injury claim. The assistant taking the call was tasteless, rude, and uneducated. I was calling regarding advice over a personal injury matter related to being rear ended while 28 weeks pregnant. At one point, I was shocked that the guy made the comment "well, your body cavity wasn't torn open, so who cares about the baby?" This clearly shows how uneducated they are. Any trauma to a pregnant woman's stomach poses risks to the fetus, especially in terms of brain development. The additional worry over not knowing how the accident may affect the unborn child can lead to symptoms of depression and anxiety, both linked to low birth weight and premature birth. I was absolutely disgusted by this attorney and could not possibly recommend him less.
I had a fabulous experience with this law firm. Mr. Younce was my attorney, and I found he and his entire team to be friendly, compassionate and professional. They were open, transparent and honest. People say not to trust lawyers. These gentlemen do not play in that ball field! I was also blown away at settlement time when the cost sheets were presented. The firm made adjustments so that their recovery amount was not higher than mine! Unbelievable! Thank you Mr. Younce and team!
