I am new to the Winston area, so I read reviews to find me a family law attorney. Tyler Kline had good reviews so I called to set up an appointment. The earliest he could see me was approximately a month from when I called – which is totally fine, this wasn’t an emergency. The morning of my appointment, I showed up and he wasn’t at his office. I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes past my appointment before I asked if anybody has heard from him. Another attorney was there and said they didn’t have paralegals there on Fridays, but he would try to call Mr. Klein for me. Mr. Klein answered his phone and said he was sorry he missed the appointment, so my consult fee would be waived and he would call me that afternoon to reschedule. He didn’t call me back by 3:30 or 4 PM, so I tried to call him. There was no answer, so I sent him an email with 3 dates to pick from. He has never replied back to my email. I am extremely frustrated that my time was wasted. I know that I personally picked an attorney from google reviews, so maybe this will warn other people of how he did me. Not to mention that I was totally fine if he didn’t want to see me – just please tell me, so our precious time is not wasted.
