This is the WORST law firm EVER!! Their communication skills is at a zero. I can never talk to nobody but the lady who answers the phone and all she do is transfer you to the lawyers voicemail. DON'T WASTE TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS LAW FIRM!!!!!

I am never able to get a hold of my lawyer. It is pulling teeth for a response. I am always leaving messages and sending emails. I have been going thru this adoption process for a year and Chris Hall has not been able to fill out the form 5191 Affidavit disclosure of Expenses correctly. Every time he completes this form and files with the court it is sent back due to not being completed correctly. He was sent this form again over a month ago and it still has not be re-filed with the court! My adoption case has been stand still because of Chris Hall. I wish he would reach out to another attorney in his office or figure out how to fill out form 5191 Affidavit Disclosure of Expenses! This is ridiculous! I do not recommend Attorney Chris Hall. ( as you can see 8 months ago from my previous review I am still having the same issues...)

From my experience dealing with Emory law firm James and Emory are WORTH the wait. It has been times where I would call and call feeling left out Because the receptionist Luz is the only person I would be able to vent too LOL she would also still remain so professional even though times I was very frustrated and very upset because I felt like nobody would give me any NEW information other than waiting on the adjusters. My case started in October and was completed with great satisfaction in January. What I didn’t know is that they were working so hard to fight for me not taking anything less than what they felt I deserved I mean they really looked out and I uses them twice already. Emory is really worth the wait it’s takes a while because they are Actually doing work and a lot people use them obviously Is what I figure out. I would recommend Emory without reservation.

I can never get Chris Hall or his PA to call or email me back. Last I heard from him was on July 11 via email that we can move forward and now i get nothing. No email no phone call no text absolutely nothing! Every time I call the girl says he is not there and he will call me back which never happens. It is frustrating when you can not get any info on your own case that you paid for. I will not use their services again.

I'm still waiting on info from my wreck that happened in October of 2017 Everytime I call I can never speak to the lawyer and the assistant is always on vacation. I haven't spoken to my lawyer Christopher hall since I signed for him to represent me smh, it is now June 21, 2018 and I have yet to hear anything about my case although my signosignif other received his settlement months ago. I thought that the lawyer or assistant was supposed to call and let u know how things were going with ur case but I guess not. Idk if they forgot about me, I didn't know it took 8mnths to receicr an updated hospital bill. As of right now I am not happy and I won't be recommending this law firm to anyone else or ever using them again myself. Patiently still unhappily waiting

Not such a good experience with this law firm. I was hit by a driver that did not have a license last year. The attorney that started the process disappeared and I was told she was no longer working on my case 2 weeks before the horrible settlement. The entire process was a waste of my time, the paralegal that I had was unprofessional, and lacked empathy . I could’ve settled on my own and received the little compensation that I got! It wasn’t even enough to replace my car that was totaled and NO EFFORT was made to get more compensation that I deserved! I’m currently still suffering severe back pain and am having to pay for my therapy on my own. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM!

On November 19 of 2017 i was hit by a driver not paying attention to their rear view mirror which completly destroyed the right side of my car! The drivers insurance company tried to say that they werent responsible for the damages due to a car not involved in the accident what so ever that had pulled out in front of them! He expressed to me that what was being done to me in this situation was completely unfair and that he would be willing to fight for my case provided that would be the route i chose to take which i did! The process was long and tedious, but thought out the whole thing, james kept me well informed and after almost 3 1/2 months of going back and forth with adjusters, james was able to get me a settlement of 7000.00 + for bodily inguries and damages done to vehicle! All of which has put me in a postion to get a new reliable means of transportation and take care of my doctors fees! I would just like to say how COMPLETELY SAFTISFIED AND APPRECIATIVE i am of the emory law firm and my attourney james! Have no ideal if it is an option but I'd love to just switch lawyers! Beyond dissatisfied so far!

This law firm is the worst. I gave them 1 star cause I couldn' give thrm no star. They communication is very unprofessional when you do speak to your attorney which is really not your attorney cause the person you speak to always says someone else is handling the case and will contact you which they never do. I was out of work 1 whole week cause the chiropracter said i should return to work in a week. After waiting 5 months i get a letter saying Emory law firm is not representing me anymore also the chiropractor may have filed a leen on my settlement. I call Emory law firm back now the lady acts like she doesn't want to speak to me. She lied and say I spoke to a attorney while he was in her office and I said I didn't want to settle. Which was a lie cause i never spoke with anybody else but the receptionost that answered the phone and her Cathey Piedra who is very unprofessional and a lier. I got into an accident last June 9th of 2018. It was not my fault, a young lady came up behind me speeding not paying attention and hit me at the back left side of me. My driver side, my car spun out of control on the high way. This was about 12am at night. Once my car came to a stop I thanked God for keeping me safe and not hitting other cars in the midst of me spinning out of control. The police was called and the proper procedures was taken. The other driver told the police that she didnt remember anything of what happened. I on the other hand remembered everything because i thought my life was getting ready to end. I saw the other driver speeding up behind me but before I could take any action if any i was being hit. After the accident i contacted her insurance co.to report the claim and it was told to me that her driver said i hit her and denied my claim. I was devastated but i knew i had done nothing wrong. I then consulted an attorney to help handle the case. Remember the other driver told the police she didnt remember anything. It was even documented on the police report, with her insurance co. she said i hit her. Any who I contacted Emory Law Firm and (James Gouard) became my attorney. He fought for me tooth and nail to win my case. Going back and forth for almost a year he won my case. When i thought all hope was lost he pulled through for me. My settlement was very nice and i owe it all to Emory Law Firm (James Gouard) Attorney at Law. Guys this man rocks and go to bat for his people. He's still fighting for you when you can no longer fight for yourself. I take my hat off to you Attorney Gouard. Thanks for everything.

Wherever he received his degree from. We as unsatisfied customers should petition his school, because they have failed to teach this youngman the essentials in business. Customer Service is paramount. Call Leigh O' Kelley with Erie . The rep handling this case and get this feces handled. And I AIN"T settling for pennies. The moral of this entry Bro. Customer Service Matters. Especially, when I make it a lifestyle to patronize my own first.

To the OWNER: Due to his large caseloads and court appearances. Perhaps he should consider not taking on an excessive amount of cases. Is your company, service driven or greed driven? Maybe your not aware, but GREAT customer service builds a rapport and relationship for future clients/dealings.The respectable protocol would be, to hire someone to correspond with each client to inform them of their status, as it pertains to their case. It's called UPDATES. I do understand every case is dealt with uniquely. Basically, update your client at least once or twice a month for reassurances. EXAMPLE: Hey Bernard we are still in the process of gathering facts/ information regarding your case.That little gesture is worth 27%. Also, rather you've been in business for 15 years plus. That's not a barometer of success. The question is, are you really winning, when you have so many unsatisfied clients. I know for a fact, that I will never use your company again.
