Unprofessional! Don't do it! Pretty much walked out of his office after a two minute reprimand from him. I stated "I thought you were supposed to be on my side" and he replied in a authoritarian voice "don't speak over me". I politely told him to have a nice day and left.

I sent an email and someone responded in about 4 days telling me to give them a call. I called and spoke with someone who took my information and told me they would give me a call. I never received that call. I had to go with someone else that was very timely and professional.

Eric Ellison has been reprimanded by the North Carolina Bar Association for failing to notify his client of charges. Do a simple search of his name on google and you will find the articles about his behavior. He attended the worst law school in America, the Thomas Cooley School of Law- the same law school that Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen went to and the school which has looser admission standards than DeVry. Eric is extremely unprofessional. He will not return your calls and he will not be respectful once your check clears. Eric does not deserve to continue practicing law, his credentials and disciplinary record show his lack of competence in practicing law. Before you hire a lawyer, don’t assume that if they claim to be a lawyer that they will behave like one, because you will lose your money quickly and lose your case. Always check a lawyer’s disciplinary record and where they attended law school. Even Avvo, which usually protects lawyers from bad press, shows the reprimand prominently on his profile. Don’t make the same mistake I did by hiring that creepy, incompetent joke of an attorney. He does not care about your case, he has dollar signs in his eyes and he will not return communication with you or put effort into winning your case. With his record, he is likely to have more reprimands and failures.

Eric and his team are great. He has closed on over 20 real estate investment properties for me and much more for my partners!

This attorney is horrible! Horrible!! We closed on 09/27/2016 and our home warranty was not paid by the attorney, as it should have been. To this date, it's still not paid! About a week ago, our hot water heater went out and because this idiot failed to pay the warranty bill, we had to come out of pocket $1400.00!!! My agent has been calling him and calling him, to no avail. I will be filing a grievance against this so called attorney. He's a joke! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!

Secretary always hung up and got an attitude with me , I've had to show up numerous times to make sure someone took my message . Very terrible communication skills , lawyer failed to show up to court first time around , just think again before calling them , very nice and first and then BAM you're in shambles . You're better off defending yourself .
