They were my attorneys also my other half works there. They went above and beyond the Call of Duty made my divorce very simple and easy for myself at my ex wife to understand.

I was lost in a maze of what legal help did I really need and who would be best to help me with it, when I called the Widrig firm. Crystal spent a long time with me narrowing down my needs, and actually conferring with Mr. Widrig to verify assumptions. Ultimately, what I needed wasn't provided by the firm, but Crystal offered recommendations for other firms. I felt the office cared about me and my situation. Should I ever need a law firm with their particular expertise, I won't be lost in a legal maze, I'll call the Widrig firm ASAP.

Widrig Law was the best decision I made during my custody case. Mr. Widrig is very professional, yet very personable. Mr. Widrig and his staff made me feel like a person and took an interest in me and my situation that was completely genuine and heart felt. There was never a time when i had a question or concern that I did not get a timely response. Mr. Widrig is a very compassionate, caring person with a huge heart for people. My experience with Widrig Law has lead to me HIGHLY recommend them to anyone I come across that is in need.

I was referred to Jim by another attorney-that’s how well respected he is in the legal community. From day one, Crystal, Jim and all of the staff were very kind and professional. (Crystal is a gem) Jim ALWAYS responds to emails in a timely manner and was always on top of his game at all of the 325 (slight exaggeration) motions my ex would file. He is very professional, yet personable. When a super stressed mom wants to go off on a 10 minute rant-he’s a great listener!
Thanks to the Widrig Law Firm for seeing me through the most stressful time in my life! No offense, but I hope I never have to set foot in your office again:)

Finding Widrig Law was the best decision I made during my divorce. Jim and Megan were very attentive and responsive as I was going through the process. They were straight shooters, kept my expectations realistic, and let me know my rights as a father as I navigated various items associated with the divorce process. They were very easy to talk to, compassionate, always prepared, and had reasonable fees.

Divorce is not easy, even if things are civil, but I felt Jim and Megan left me in good hands and I'm pleased with the outcome of my case.

They took advantage of me ever since i paid that high ass retainer fee. I have been trying to get a divorce for 2 years I have no kids no property no joint debt. There has been little to no progess as far as I can tell because in still married. So unless your a high priority case you won't be treated equally well from my experience with one of their lawyers.i never even spoke with Mr. Widrig I bet he doesn't even know how his lawyers are treating their clients

Awful experience. I was sent parenting plans with other client's personal details on them, I was copied on internal emails talking about me -- they were completely unprofessional and negligent.

In court James Widrig threatened my ex to reinstate an order of protection without speaking to me about it first. Absolutely ridiculous experience. Would avoid at all costs.

I wanted to take a moment to do something I don't normally do, take time to actually write a review. Jim Widrig is an excellent attorney. He's assisted myself and my family numerous times over the years. He returns phone calls, which seems simple enough, but in my experience is hard to come by these days, so in reality it really separates him from the crowd even more. He's always gotten the job done effectively and affordably, and doesn't nickel and dime you like other attorneys. I highly recommend Jim Widrig and Widrig Law as a Nashville family law attorney.

While legal matters are almost never fun, Jim makes them as absolutely painless as possible. Throughout my divorce and years of painful encounters with my ex-husband since then, I would never trust anyone except Jim to represent me. He and his staff are prompt and make you feel like your case is the only one that matters. I'm finally able to put the past behind me and move on thanks to Jim and his team. I can't say enough about the care with which he handles tedious legal matters. Thank you so much, Widrig Law!

This is the only law firm I will ever go to for any legal matters... I have retained Jim numerous times since 2008. He is the first person I contact when faced with a legal matter- I trust his legal advise, and I trust him as a person!

While I cannot say that the whole experience of divorce was good, I can say that the only bright spot in the entire ordeal was having Jim and his staff on my defense. Jim takes the responsibility to vigorously defend you seriously. I am completely pleased with the outcome of my case and can honestly say that I believe finding him and choosing him as my attorney was the best decision I made leading into the divorce.

I do not doubt that anyone Jim is defending will be more that satisfied with the defense that Jim will provide. He protected me even on fronts I was not aware of and made it possible for my livelihood to not be completely lost during the course of the trial

I’ve been working with James L. Widrig for the last couple years.

Divorce in Tennessee is unfortunately very common—and potentially devastating.

Tennessee is an equitable distribution state, meaning that property is distributed according to how the court assesses the situation and contributions to the marriage of each spouse. To enter into a divorce in such an open legal environment without the assistance of an experienced divorce lawyer would be foolhardy.

I’d trust Mr. Widrig with any legal problems I had in Tennessee...eyes closed.
