They took advantage of me ever since i paid that high ass retainer fee. I have been trying to get a divorce for 2 years I have no kids no property no joint debt. Awful experience. I was sent parenting plans with other client's personal details on them, I was copied on internal emails talking about me -- they were completely unprofessional and negligent.

In court James Widrig threatened my ex to reinstate an order of protection without speaking to me about it first. Absolutely ridiculous experience. Would avoid at all costs.

While I cannot say that the whole experience of divorce was good, I can say that the only bright spot in the entire ordeal was having Jim and his staff on my defense. Tennessee is an equitable distribution state, meaning that property is distributed according to how the court assesses the situation and contributions to the marriage of each spouse. To enter into a divorce in such an open legal environment without the assistance of an experienced divorce lawyer would be foolhardy.
