Very good attorney and staff!

My dad hired Earl gatlin to do the refinance on his home after my mom passed away at the end of last year. My dad contacted him after Thanksgiving of 2016. Because my dad lives out of state I am my dad's power of attorney and I am the personal representative for my mom's passing through probate. Myself and my dad called Earl Gatlin dozens of times throughout December and January. Earl Gatlin called me for the first time two days ago to tell me all the paperwork he's done is incorrect because he just learned of my mom's passing. Had he answered the phone or returned a single one of mine or my dad's phone calls he would've understood the situation and not wasted his time and our money doing the paperwork incorrectly. When we spoke a few days ago on Monday he said he only saw one message from me back in December. My question to Mr Gatlin is why would you wait more than a month to call me back? How is that in anyway exceptable on your part as a lawyer? The answer is it is completely unacceptable and I would not recommend Mr. gatlin to anyone for anything. Because of his negligence we are looking at an extension fee from the bank to refinance because of Mr. Gatlin's incorrect filing of paperwork which will need to be redone and the process of switching lawyers as well. This experience has been something I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's hard enough to lose your mom and jump through hoops for Probate and live day to day with grief and in morning but then to have a lawyer not give a damn about you or your family to the point of ignoring you for months has made life even worse. If you are thinking of using Earl Gatlin, I highly advise you to reconsider.
