I regret posting this review, but our organization has little other recourse other than to contact the South Carolina Bar Association and file an ethics complaint. I’m happy to remove this if the situation is resolved. We used this firm to execute a real estate purchase in April. It is now October, and the staff and attorneys have not sent us our title for the property sale. We have, because of this, lost a sale opportunity related to the property. We have made dozens of attempts, documented, to retrieve the title from the staff. We have been met with the excuse of paperwork backlog. Members of our staff have called multiple times a week since April. We continue to call and leave messages. We do not receive calls back from the attorneys regardless of how many messages we have left. I do not think it is unreasonable, after having already paid our fees in full to these attorneys back in April, and after we articulated the urgency then to receive our title in order to make a sale, and after calling and attempting to finalize this process for six months, for us still to have no response from the attorneys at Frick Trent Lizzio. If anyone from their team sees this, please respond to our many emails and voIce messages so this can be resolved. We will need to proceed with further action in the next few days if we do not hear from anyone so that we are indeed in possession of the title. We bear no ill, we simply wish to obtain the paperwork we paid to have completed earlier this year. If there is any reason that this has not been completed, it has not ever been communicated to us. We were told earlier this year that it was in process, but may take a few days or a couple weeks to complete. Because of this challenging scenario, and having no explaination as to why it has not progressed for six months, with no other communication from the firm, I recommend that anmuone looking for attorneys in the area not use this firm.

Tracy Frick and her co-workers are the best of the best when it comes to real estate law. They’re affordable and honest. If you want a professional to help you Tracy is your go-to person.
I've done several real estate closings here and they are always very professional but they make the process fun at the same time

This is by far the least professional Attorney's office I have ever dealt with in my 30 year career as a realtor. They do not answer their phones, never return messages, and show no respect to your buyers and sellers.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I sold my house and the buyer used this attorney. They dragged their feet on pulling title work, which in turn delayed closing. They waited so long to pull the title that the lender had to rewrite the loan. In addition to the delayed closing, this caused us a great amount of extra expenses as we were using those funds to pay off a bridge loan. On closing day, the attorney had me and the buyer sign in front of each other (really not ok since personal private info was needed) In addition, the lender then wrote the addendum incorrectly, to which we would owe the buyer some funds straight out of pocket, when asked to speak to my husband and realtor in private, the attorney said there were no additional conference rooms to meet in, i said “ok we will stay in here.” Closing took 2 hours and the attorney seemed more than clueless as to what he was doing/asking us to sign. And the decor was terrible. Don’t use them unless you want extra expenses, delays in closing, and a closing that takes forever. Staff not even friendly.
