Regarding records they aren't good at all. Can't even get an emailed statement of charges payments and totals. Other than that they are good and have worked well with us until asking for records of everything.

Keep your receipts! If you pay something they will say you haven't. They will refuse to send you any documents pertaining to your account. They will tell you that they already sent it 3 years ago and you should still have record of it. If you want another copy they will refuse. I have the right to know what im being charged for, a record of all previous payments made and written explanation as to why they don't have payment records. It takes 30 servings to print something off and mail it to me for review.

This law office is a collections law office, I had no clue I owed a business money. I guess I was charged back in 2015 when i got sick and had to take an ambulance to the hospital. Keep in mind this is one out of 4 different businesses I had to pay just because I got picked up by an ambulance, but I am only heard about the debt yesterday, all the other debts have been paid years ago. I am glad to pay the money and get on a payment plan just so this is not affecting my credit, but they are refusing to meet my budget. I am a single guy, trying to build my life and they are trying to require $300 + for 3 months, when I was not even contacted once in the last 3 to 4 years about this debt. They can't tell me anything about how this debt occured, whether or not I had to pay another company for the same services. They are extremely rude over the phone. They can't show me a signature or anything but they expect me to just jump up and pay it, but then to make this work I agree to make a payment plan and they wont work with my budget at all.

There are several ways to contact people these days. I know if you look my name up in facebook my name is the first to come up, so when they say they were not able to contact me for 3 to 4 years, that is a lie. I understand what they do for a living, but this is an odd circumstance because I truely had no clue about this debt. They also include a huge charge to pay a payment over the phone.

I am willing to pay monthly payments and they are refusing to take what I give, they said I can go ahead and pay it but that wont stop them from taking me to court (they said procede with legal action whatever that means). If you can avoid this law office, do so.

Update: I decided to get a loan from my bank and pay these scammers off. Now ive been in their waiting room for 30 minutes waiting for a document saying they have been paid. THIS PLACE TREATS PEOPLE LIKE DIRT. Here i am missing work just to get a receipt. Its one thing to be a collection agency, but customer service should still be a top priority, but these people are just evil. Still here, ill update if the half hour turns into an hour.

Office was collecting a debt on my secretary. Worked out a settlement. They are in a tough business, and have to be the "bad guy." But, overall, I have to admit, they were as fair as they could be. Remember, these guys have to answer to those they work for: CREDITORS

I don't care for these people at at all. I don't want to give them any stars they sent me a bill it was from a medical debt I was doing my best by paying what I could even if it was only 5 dollars. Next thing I knew they sent me court papers that said there was a judgement against me I called and talked to one of the girls and told her that I had alot of different debt and could only pay a little at a time she said I needed to pay 400 dollars a month I told her that it would not work that I could not afford it she said well we can't do a payment plan then but she said she would accept anything I could give them so I gave them what I could and than I got a letter from the counstables office saying that if I didn't make a payment plan they were going to come after my belongings. These people are crooks and should be shut down they should be more understanding especially when it comes to medical debt it is not cheap to try and pay for especially now days this company is rotten to the core talk about people on a power Trip this is so wrong.

Super poor customer service. I called their office to pay off my account and I couldn't believe the way I was spoken to. The office staff are extremely demanding and downright rude. Even when they found out I was calling to give them money, they still gave me the third degree. Hopefully I'll never have to deal with these people again, they were ridiculous.

Attorney for Mountainland Collections. Mountainland is a special kind of dishonest company. They target policy holders for medical bills that go unpaid. Have an adult child with bills. They will come after you. Have a divorce and the other party uses your policy but doesn't follow through with payment. They will sue you. Currently harassing me for payment on a grand child who I have never had custody of because of a hospital error copied my insurance information over when my adult daughter had her baby. Terrible customer service everyone in the office has a giant chip. I get it, I have worked collections, but these people need a new line of work.

This firm is trying to collect a debt that was paid 4 months ago. At least we think so because Jenna, who called, did not (and would) not say the amount of the debt or more specific details. It's harassment to try to collect on something that has already been paid.

Ok nobody likes debt collectors but Neva has made this easy and I really appreciate how kind and willing to help she is. She should get a raise.

This law firm filed LEGAL garnishment papers for the WRONG person!!! Meaning that the person who received the garnishment not only nearly had a heart attack and had to hurry and get things sorted out, but also had personal information including social security number and date of birth for someone who shared her name. Not just a little oops here. I would double check ANY and all paperwork you get from this firm.

Was paying 100 per month. Last month funds were not available. This company sent me a letter saying they asked the judge for 350 in penalties for a 450 bill for breach of contract. I figured I would go to court. Today they took another 100 from my account for a supposedly invalid contract. Terrible company.

Probably the most snake like group of people in utah. They seem to enjoy causing pain and suffering. Dont ask for Brooke she wont help, if anything she will do her upmost to screw you over.

Mr. Kofford and his staff are in a tough business. From my experience, they handle their clients with dignity and respect. They are professionals that are reasonable if given the opportunity.

I would give zero stars if I could. The original debt was for an AMBULANCE bill. Welcome to America where you get debt collectors up your ass for medical bills. Set up a payment plan and was late ONE time and the whole thing became due in full; even after I paid it they added MORE fees on top of that. They'll sue you for a $300 balance. Debt collectors are indeed the scum of the earth, they ought to rot in hell. Rotten, rotten people.

I've had a really good experience with them. They have really worked with me on paying my debt off. They have never been rude or disrespectful. Neva is amazing!

Insensitive, horrible people. Had an outstanding balance under $200. Willing to work out payment plan with the bill going up $250 for attorney fees and went out of town because of a death and the lady STILL filed it with the courts when I told her I would do a payment plan. Then I explained my conversation with her about it, she "couldn't find the call". I absolutely hate talking to anyone in that office and everyone is on some high horse. I don't know how you sleep at night.

Tina Grant is THE WORST! This place is an absolute laughing stock to deal with. They treat you like you're a terrible person because of a debt. Life happens and so does debt. Sorry to whoever has to deal with this law office and if you have to work with Tina Grant don't waste any time requesting a different person to work with. I lost a baby and missed a payment and she held it against me. Mind you I paid it and got caught up but seriously i lost a baby and she didn't care all she cared about was getting that payment and making money. Sad how people can treat other people over MONEY!! Terrible company to do business with. When making payments to them, it wasn't fast enough and they try to go to court. Definitely would never use them for anything. Unbelievable the harassing phone calls.

They are the ultimate bottom feeders who work with the attitude that because their client says you owe them money, then you do. Half the stuff they came after us for had already been paid, other stuff we'd never received a bill for, nor had they contacted us until we heard from the court, in doing this they can then add more and more charges before they even get to you and they seem complicit with their clients who also never send any invoices or statements about half money you allegedly own. Just dealing with the makes my flesh crawl.

Pretty much some of the most scandalously wretched paycheck hunters out there. I'm sure they'll love this because it means they're getting their money but they are terrible. They do not work with you and they charge fees that are astronomical.

This agency is extremely dishonest. As I approached the end of paying my bill they added an additional $350 saying another bill had come in. I never received any proof. My son had a garnishment form them and on the day his last payment was to be paid they did exactly the same thing to him! $350 for a "new" bill with no proof being provided! They are crooks!

These guys are the worst. They left an unpaid account open for 2 years before I caught it on my credit report, they never once sent me a bill. When I asked Brooke why they had not contacted me at all regarding this bill, the only answer she could give me was, "we were not actively collecting on it". WTH?? If they aren't actively collecting on it, then why is it still open and on my credit report? The bill has been paid in full and yet it is still on my credit report as an open collection with a balance due. If you can avoid dealing with them, do it!! I've never had a problem with a collector as I have had with them. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well as the CFPB.

These people are fu**ing vultures. It's sad that there are actual offices that specialize in taking people to court and trying to ruin their credit over 300 dollars. I hope the people of this office as well as Mr. Kofford are content with how they treat people. Karma is a bi**h.
