If I could give no stars I would. She was terribly unhelpful, printed something generic off the state site and still charged me her consult fee. I wouldn't recommend her at all.

As a Father who has gone through the divorce and custody battle within the Utah courts and has utilized several different attorneys over the past 5 years I highly recommend Catherine Labatte to be your attorney.
Cathy became my attorney after my divorce had been filed and I was in a battle to make sure I kept my legal rights and visitation with my daughters along with fighting a divorce decree which I was way too generous and signed over more rights than I should have. From the beginning she was very honest in the potential outcomes and what to expect and how she would go about making sure I maintained my rights. During one part of the process Cathy made a call to the Commander of an Army base in Germany where my ex-wife and her husband were stationed with my daughters. She was able to get the military to condemn the actions of my ex-wife in potentially limiting my visitation rights with my daughters and made it clear that she was to allow me my rights. What was really impressive to me is Cathy navigated the military chain of command with multiple phone calls and attempts as well as getting up in the very early hours of the morning to make these calls as Germany is eight hours ahead of our time zone.
