Corrupt organization. They target unsuspecting landlords by posing as prospective tenants on the phone and twist words to allege the landlord is enganging in discrimatory practices. The Law Center said they would leave us alone for $20k. They filed an action against us and we WON, although it cost us thousands to defend their phony claim. They have to meet a quota of so many "false" claims or they lose their funding, so they go on fishing expeditions. They lack knowledge of discrimination laws and provide the public at large a disservice. Many have complained about their unprofessionalism and scare tactics.

We visited for the Vocational Rehabilitation Client Assistance Program. They were amazing to work with. They looked up all the rules relevant to our problem, and even attended our VR appointments with us.

Can get help with disability issues.

If you have a disability or discrimination issue, by all means, hit them up they are awesome. And very good at what they do.

Not sure what this organization does. Contacted them several times for legal assistance to assist my disabled daughter. A typical answer is there’s not really anything they can do.

What good is a disability services center when it discriminates against people with atypical disabilities?!
They refused to help me or provide resources AT ALL because my disabilities are unusual, I'm stuck in a dangerous domestic situation, DYING from neglect and a neurodegenerative disease, and I can't get help on my own because society makes it near impossible for me to do so.

The address listed for DLC is a dud. After playing tag for a few days I drove to the address listed and it is a different agency altogether. The other agency handed me a Disability Law Center card and redirected me to call their phone center. There’s no actual face to face.
Eventually she called me back then listened to my situation then asked me my son’s race(white) for funding purposes and told me that they are a law office for civil rights and that I need to hire a private attorney for him. Not my advocates.

Competent caring people

Completely unprofessional. Madeline there needs to be fired, she doesn't answer phone calls or emails, doesn't schedule when she's supposed to, doesn't do her job, screws up people's benefits and process, and is completely inept and unapologetic about it.

Prefers to help people who are Mormon or who have an LDS History - even if they have strong cases relating to their disability in housing and employment discrimination/retaliation actions. This post is protected by the false claims act. Note that Laura Lee Gillespie teaches at BYU (Mormon Owned) and is a supervising attorney at the DLC.

They were very nice to me explained things rooms my case they have volunteer and paralegals with disability and they understand you and the laws which was excellent for me also being disabled talking my frustration with a person who understands human beings not looking at me like disabled I felt very welcome and at home and ease they the btsy

These people are crooks 3000 for 10 minutes! Think twice before using their service! They are scamming the government
