Very good lawyer's will to take the time to explain everything

I recently learned I had a substantial amount of money in Utah's unclaimed property. When I put in for the claim, the forms and instructions were overwhelming. I do not live in Utah so my personal attorney could not help me. I went online and looked at a few firms in the Salt Lake City area. I found Scalley Reading Bates Hansen and Rasmussen. Their website had a box to put in what your problem was. In under an hour, Mr. Brad Madsen called me. Mr. Madsen and Mr. Randy Morris took me step by step to retrieve the funds. Attorney Marlon Bates went above and beyond in advising me and drafting an agreement to modify and modification to easement for my house purchase and I'm 100% sure I would not have been able to go through buying my first house without his help.

This was my first every need for an attorney, so I found Marlon through just the regular online search. After sending inquiry to over half dozen attorneys I found, Marlon was the very first to respond with immediate availability. He spent more than an hour on our consultation call, providing more than I was hoping to learn and get advice on the my easement situation. He left on a family vacation the week after but he was still very responsive to my questions and when I decided to move forward with the house with only left few days till diligence deadline, he was able to provide me with the perfect agreement and easement modification draft that I needed to close on my house with a peace of mind. In addition, he was able to clearly outline the risks and the steps that I needed to know and take to fully implement the contract and the modification.

Buying my first house with easement issues was a very scary decision and I would have never gone through buying this house if it wasn't for the reassuring consultation and the contracts and modification drafts that Marlon provided. I would go through this all over again with his help.

Ultimately, I ended up with a better term on the house and more favorable modifications to the easement than I would have initially accepted on the house

It speaks tons about a prospective employer, like Scalley Reading, by the way they treat those who are interviewing with them. A day ago, Thursday, as I’m getting ready to go to an interview with this firm, they cancel my interview and say they will reschedule with me later that day. But a day goes by and they never call me back.

Either this is how they let candidates know that they’re not interested or they’re just really this unprofessional to call people back. Regardless, I’m unimpressed with this firm and maybe this is a sign that I shouldn’t work at Scalley Reading.

These clowns did everything possible to ensure that the case was a loser! From filing the wrong charges to refusing to enforce subpoenas. Bad advice and thousands of dollars along with allowing a judge who formerly represented the defendants to sit over without any arguments! If you handle your own case you will have a better chance!

I was not impressed with their service. My simple eviction sat on their desk for almost 2 months! Costing me a lot of rent loss and major hassle. Then then charged me $759 for the service! What a rip off! I've had other companies do it for half that and in 2 weeks time! The only redeeming factor is that when I asked them for a discount for their "services" they gave me what I asked for.

Their Website never works and when you call in to get help they put you on hold. Then when you ask questions they respond in a very rude manner. When you ask to speak to someone they are always busy and can't take you phone calls so you have to leave a message not knowing if or when they will call you back.
